Hello Everyone,
Does any of you has any information on the procedures of two reiki techniques called Psychic Surgery and "healing attunment". I know they are part of tibetan reiki instruction for level 3.
I used to have that information but it got lost when I moved my office. If anyone has a link, or detailed instructions, please let me know.
Love,
Ladycyan,
(who has just got her wisdom teeth removed! Ouch!!)

William Rands books reiki master and master teacher have instruction in it. It would take all day for me to type it here. The book is around 18.00 and can be ordered off his website. Under teacher supplies. If you are a reiki master it is a good refernce book. Explains alot about the master and master teacher level. If you already learned it it should be easy to follow. Probably the best 18.00 you will ever spend if you love reiki.

Sheree Rainbow-Kren has 10 or so Yahoo groups that begin with "Reiki Manuals". I recall seeing the information you seek there (but not the specific location).
The Yahoo group is free to the best of my knowledge.

posylady,
Hi.
It seems to me that the problem is that if anyone can order this book what is the point of having to be a Reiki Master? If Rand allows just anyone to buy a description of psychic surgery techniques then that is highly irresponsible, in my view. Also, if Rand requires some proof of one's Reiki Masterhood in order to purchase this volume, which it seems he may not according to your information, then what is acceptable proof\verification of Masterhood?
Cheers (unsupervised amateurs are at least as dangerous as unscrupulous Master)

Hey All,
sorry, for some reason, I didnt get the replies sent to my email address and I didnt know you were answering. Sorry for the delay.
I did have instruction on psychic surgery, but some of my manuals got lost when I moved.I did practiced it a few time with great results, but I needed some details so I can go back to practise it again (on myself)
I live In argentina, so, some of the book suggestions are really appreciated but itīs not possible to get them right now.
On the topic of anyone being able to read the instructions, I think that is allright, but as long as you donīt have the proper training or attunment you wonīt be able to do much with it. I believe in facilitating information and in being responsible on how you use it.
love,
Ladycyan

I do know that instructions for a healing attunement are included in the CD kit titled "the Reiki Master Practicum" by Infinite light healing studies in Sedona, I however don't know about the psychic surgery technique
By the way reikicurmudgeon, unless his policy has changed Rand does require proof of master training be emailed to him when purchasing the master manual.
( I am sorry but I am about to go on my soapbox, so if I sound rude or harsh I am sorry I don't mean to )
However even if he did not, I disagree it would be irresponsable, grant it I would see it as going slightly away from Reiki norm/tradition however the reponsibility for ethical actions and uses of any healing modality at end fall on each individual healer. If every teacher spend his time acting as Ethics Police with his students or people who aquired information from him /her that person would have no time for anything else in his or her life, is a nice dream to think everyone will play nice or that there is someone who would spend such effort remind us or preventing us from making mistakes (of Ethical nature or otherwise) however In my PERSONAL world view is just not realistic , I am a teacher not someone's nanny,
anyway enought Ranting about MY opinion

Hello Ladycyan,
I use psychic surgery quite often and would be most happy to help you out with instructions.
I was taught that once you find the "object" that is to be removed you must ask the client the following questions: What size do they give to it? What color? texture? weight? andmost importantly, what will they LOSE by removing it? If they can answer these questions then they are truly in touch with the obstacle and are ready to release it. You then extend your psychic fingers from your own finger tips and begin the excisiing. Continue to remove the "object" and checking in with the client to make sure that they also feel or intuit its removal until you both feel, see or intuit that it is gone. Remember that when you take energy out you must put energy back in so when you are finished removing pack the area with light and smooth over to seal. I like to fill my palm with light and pack the area. I also like to have a pychic fire next to me to put the "object" inot with the intent that the stagnant or negative energy is purified. Push your psychic fingers back in and continue with whatever you need to.
Just a note, if a client cannot answer these questions then I don't do the work but recommend the come back for another session of Reiki until we can clarify the issue better with energy work.
A warning for those that try this: I have used psychic surgery in person and via distance many times. I have had clients report that the area worked on has shown bruising afterward and/or they feel like they have had surgery in that area. This is not always the case but it can happen. You may want to talk with your clients about this and check in with them the following day. I also recommend following up with another session or localized reiki to that area after the PS.
Hope this helps,
Tracey

Thank you for your post !! It helped understand the technique better, the questions you ask before performing the technique are very similar to what I was taught to ask before breaking up and cleansing energy blockages in Reiki Drumming, I guess at then end it comes down to weather or not the person is ready to let go of whatever the block signifies or the function it servers in their life.

Absolutely RD!
Many times an illness or blockage serves a purpose in the life of the client that although painful, is a place of comfort for them. This is a great time to practice patience, love, and understanding that everyone has a choice to heal or not and we must respect that choice and support them as we can.
Love and light,
Tracey

To be honest I have never tried but that means nothing. If you think you can, you can :) Let me know how it goes.
Blessings,
