Does anyone here do any crystal work? I use it in order to help with my Reiki treatments.

Hello, I'm new here, just joined today :)

I also use crystals and stones in my Reiki sessions. With humans I use them directly on the person; with animals I usually choose one or two and hold them in my hands during the session. I select them using intuition and my ever-present pendulum.

I love crystals but have not used them. Is there any specific type of crystal to look for or just what draws you?

Dolphin the answer to that is yes and yes. Crystals have many different meanings and healing properties. Something you can try is to hold it in your hand and see how it feels for you. Generally if it feels warm or tingly or you get a sensation from it it could be beneficial to you.

i have always loved crystals!! They have many healing properties and very many other helpful properties. I use them in my reiki session if the client ok's it. i sometimes place them on the persons chakras. Or next to the person, aligned with the chakras. Thanks for bringing this to discussion!

do they need to be put on the correct chakras? I've been working with a few on myself - and I just place them on my stomach area while I do my full body reiki

I have been working with crystals for some time, and I found personally that some crystals do work better on certain chakras, areas of the body and specific issues, crystals are a lot like people they do have things that each crystal are better at is just a matter of getting to know crystals better.

when working on people I have to be very careful, crystal work can be very powerful and intense. I have met people who are Extremely sensitive to crystal energy, just being in the same room with a large number of crystals brings on a healing reaction and I have to be careful not do more than each individual client can handle.

For those attuned to the master level I suggest passing an attunment on a crystal when you first get it, the beings that inhabit the crystal love reiki and having reiki attuned little helpers ( crystals) around can be a great thing from time to time!!

Right now I'm only working on myself and working with rose quartz (I have a necklace that I always wear), Apophyllite for meditation and intuition, charoite, and labradorite.
Looks like the labradorite is for all chakras.
