The Reiki Cafe 

Hi everyone,

I need to know what you all make of this.

I did a Reiki session last weekend and the person said she heard a stromming sound in her ears as I was projecting over her face- she said she feel like her ears were draining but she didn't feel any liquid coming out. she felt the heat(intense @ times) from my hands on her face. Oh she also said she felt like her head was swirling around.

I told her I would post it here & see what everyone thought of it.

Reactions from Reiki can be as individual as each person we connect with. I, too, have had tremendous reactions in my ears....only with certain healers.....do I understand it...not really...but I pay attention to what the client feels afterwards (feedback, feedback, feedback)....what they learn on their own...cause this is their healing process....we're merely a vessel....a means...and thankfully so. Every person has taught me....by what they feel, experience, and learn....amen.

These sound to me like the sensations that a body experiences when the energy is unfamiliar. Ignore them as the practitioner.

Afterwards when we (me & my client) talked about it, we came to the conclusion of it being a release of stress or illness or something that was in her. I was told before that when we detox - it comes out of our feet- we were thinking this time it came out of her ears.

She gave me this mental picture to describe what it was like. On the cartoons when the character is steaming mad or something like that- steam comes flying out of both of the characters ears.. that's what it was like to her. no pain or anything.

Reiki is truly the best- I'm so excited to be learning/using it! Is so AMAZING!!!
