The Reiki Cafe 

Hi. So when I was a young girl between the ages of 5 & 6,
my mother's friend who was a Level 3 Reiki Master gave me the Reiki ability.
15 years later, I want to open that aspect of my life.
Do I still have the ability?
I have always been a spirtually active person, and a very sensitive person too.

I believe that I still have the capabilities, but I would like ones opinion.

Of course you still have the abilities. As my Reiki teacher has told me time and time again, you never lose your attunements. I would suggest you do find a Reiki teacher so you can learn how to use your abilities and tune into them. It would be beneficial to go through the training, you just won't need the attunements. - when you say you were 'given the reiki ability' do you mean you received an attunement?

- also, was this done with your permission or that of your parents?

- the manner in which attunements are received matters

- and, as child you might have had no clue as to what was going on

- and there are attunements for each Reiki level

- I agree - you would do well to begin with level 1

- and go thru the attunements properly!
