My Self healing documentary...

Hi folks, my friend Monika was inspired when I told her about my self Healing she asked me if I wanted to make a documentary. We started out this summer and experimented in making a short 14 minute documentary. I want to share it with you it was after my healing that I went on to become a RMT you will see that in the video. Given the nature of this forum I had to post the info under announcements. I discovered that if you type ...vimeo bridget's healing.... that will take you to the video ~ Bridget (soineann)

It is my vision that folks who watch this documentary can see the value of re-thinking their options no matter what dis-ease they are diagnosed with. They have the opportunity to alkalize themselves and not allow the foods they eat to acidify their system. Reiki is a wonderful tool to help one relax and clear the blockages that prevents the healing process.

I would like to see folks learn prevention and not get to a place where inflammation can become a problem to breed dis-ease in the body.......

I have a brochure that I give out to folks who come to see the documentary. The following is a page from the brochure..........

A brief summary of how I reversed my life threatening diagnoses.

...I first had to know what I didn’t want , I did not want a total hysterectomy, followed by chemotherapy and radiation.

...I then had to figure out what I needed to do. I began changing my eating habit’s no fried foods, no sugar, no hydrogenated oils, no white flour....

...I went in search of books about preventing dis-ease in that process I found Jon Kabat Zinn’s video interview with Bill Moyers a treasure for me.

...I searched for a Holistic Dr. but none did I find.

...I sought out yoga along with muscle toning exercises.

...I became aware of my self talk and adjusted it when I’d hear myself say, “I want to heal,” when I really should have said “I’m healthy.”

...I used visualizations that I created to go deeper within to talk to my cells and become the captain of my own body

...I treated myself to Reiki Therapy from Janice Anderson a Reiki practitioner and a Holistic RN.

...I connected spiritually with my parents who passed on when I was a child and asked for their guidance.

...I made peace with resentments that accumulated over the years and learned to let them go.

...I learned to be my own health advocate and find other options beyond what the medical profession was offering.

...I chose not to tell anyone about my diagnoses beyond my immediate family and those within the medical profession who I chose to work with

Thanks for sharing this, with us. During the years that I could hear Xaris, I did similar things. I had no desease to mess with but I had unhealthy practices. There was a group who met togather with Xaris. We stopped eating beef first. Later the meat of fowl. We increased vegetable proteins. We eat only olive oil that is not denatured. In fact we eliminated anything denatured. We wanted to be as close to nature as possible. We grew our own food using organic methods. As usual, I am forgetting all the details so when the memory returns I will add more. I mention olive oil because of its importance. Nutrients travel from the stomach via oil that has places on its atoms to tack on and distribute nutrients to body cells.

As always Finality you have so much insight and experience.
Healthy food is # 1. Growing our own food would be ideal.
In the summer we still have the victory gardens I think most folks call them community gardens, that helps folks for some part of the year here in the North East to experience delicious foods straight from the garden. there are still some religious groups that farm the land in California I'm sure folks from other parts of the US do the same. India uses a lots of herbs in their Ayurvedic cooking. I find some Indian foods very spicey. It would be interesting if other folks could share what healthy foods they like to eat to stay healthy.

I can add more details if I cas keep the memeory! Cow's milk is undigestable for humans, but making milk into yogurt renders it digestable. The bacteria of yogurt does it for us. I bought a Yogermet equipment and keep yogurt daily. I am making some right now. I like to add frozen bluebarries and brown sugar in the blender with some yourt. I have other yogurt drinks I make. I even add maple syrup to a bowl full of yogurt. Very delicious.

All of this recall has stimulated more and more recall. I grew up on a farm in west Texas. I grew up knowing that mothers were fat, that daddies were farmers. Women sewed. Men plowed. In the summers all us kids howed. Life was simple. The years that the scool obard allowed country kids I rode the school bus each day. the years they did not allow, we moved into town and walked to school. Aunt Maybell lived in town, so when I was in high school, and needed to participate in after school events, I stayed at Aunt Maybell's until someone came to get me.

Aunt Maybell taught Expression. I began taking Expression lessons as a preschooler. This continued until I was in high school and would not practice my lessons so Aunt Maybell told me not to come. (Expression is what was called the art of speaking).

I have not thought of all these things for many years. Watching the squirrels cavort around in my back yard seems to bring my youth into focus.

self healing jouneis.

I was wondering if you were doing reiki before the event of cancer?

{aside: yep, I'm not on here much}

I have a really bizarre story, mostly because I wasn't actually sick. I was nutritionally deficient.

And couldn't get help for it, before I knew.

Well, that is a little encouraging. It is a shame when you find someone in a healing system that then gets sick; kinda makes you want to not do it, but it happens. Just because we are healers doesn't mean we are fully aware of what it gon on inside our body, but it sure helps.
