I am conducting a job search and am wanting to reiki the situation. I was looking for suggestions as to best practices for this. Should I state the job that I have applied for or am applying for, or in more general terms? I am looking for full-time and also part time jobs to help me to make ends meet while I conduct my search. Perhaps my part-time job can turn into a lucrative, fulfilling full-time job.
Should I use the distand symbol on a piece of paper with my stated objective?
Thanks.

Aim - I think your best bet would be to give Reiki to yourself and ask that it go to "Your Greatest and Highest Good".
Perhaps that will manifest in creativity in your approach to your job search. Or will help prepare your for the emotional journey of this current jobless-ness.
But I don't think that you can necessarily provide reiki to just a specific situation like "I want/need a job".
It is my understanding that reiki is given to people and things, not a process.
But, I am still very new to this journey. And if someone has a different view, I would love to hear it.

aim,

- on the whole, I will agree with judevine's thoughtful suggestions and observations
- to extend the discussion slightly, I would offer that to send Reiki to a 'situation' can include other people in that situation and thus can be considered doing Reiki with people who have not given their permission
- good luck and good hunting
