The Reiki Cafe 

Hello,

I am a massage therapy student and for my final project for one of my classes I have written a Reiki Research paper. This weekend I must present my "Project" to my fellow massage therapy students. I am having a difficult time coming up with a creative way to present the subject. I would love to do a demonstration, but I myself do not have the experience or qualifications to do that.
Please, if anyone could offer some ideas on how I could present my project in a creative way I would be eternally greatful!

Dear luvon, Perhaps you could exchange with someone who does give Reiki. They would demonstrate Reiki for your presentation and you would do massage for them at another time. I exchange all the time.....Reiki for pilates....Reiki for massage....Believe me, there are lots of Reiki practioners that'd appreciate your hands-on in return.

That is a fabulous idea, unfortunately I have a year and 1/2 left of school and leagally can not give massages other then when I am with my teacher...so that won't work for me right now.

Hi,

Perhaps you can latch onto (or know) a Reiki teacher who would be willing to help you out with a gratis demonstration. There is a certain amount of compassion among Reiki folk so maybe you would be able to tap into a bit of that. And, such an opportunity would also afford the Reiki teacher the opportunity to spread the Reiki word.

Hello,

Getting a Reiki teacher to help you present you paper would be wonderful, but why not see if some of her students would like an outing. They are usually pretty eager to get their hands on bodies and discuss their perceptions.

Think big! Think small, you get small...go for the whole pancake. How would you like to see Reiki introduced?
