The Reiki Cafe 

I am searching for a convenient and effecient way to learn Reiki.
I read what people write in forums and it fascinates me... I am kind of jealous and would like to feel those energies in me too.

My problem is I can't learn from a personal teacher, there is nothing in my area.
Has anybody tried any of ther online courses?

- for myself, I would say that the only sure way to learn Reiki and have the opportunity to begin to experience the energy is to enrol in a Reiki 1 class and get the hands-on training, practice, and atunements

- even if it means a little travel to a class being given elsewhere

- online courses can only offer information one can read - there is no opportunity for supervised, hands-on experience

- and, I put little or no stock in distance atunements

- and, here at The Cafe you may search our member list for anyone in your area or nearby who may offer classes - such persons may have email addresses posted here

Could you please post the web site again that you are referring to. I cannot see it, try typing it out.

I could give you my person opinion about the website but I strongly recommend to try seek out a Reiki practioner in your area. Some will come to you, if you are not able to go to them. I only say this from experiece, as I have been very fortunate. I received my attunement back in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and the course was in french. Then when I moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada I wanted to get my attunement in English buy a wonderful woman who now resides in British Columbia.

I don't know if you will have the same experience by doing an on line course, but if you feel it's right then it probably is for you. It's an amazing experience and it's almost addictive. Being a channel for a good energy, is an amazing feeling which is hard to descibe...but when it happens you will understand.
