O.K. This should not have the problems it was having before though it still may have other similar problems :). We shall see by the end of the day how it is holding up.
Being as I have not yet made any help pages it may take a while to discover all of the features of this new system. So let me give you some info
First of all, you will notice that there are two boards. There can and will be more. If you have an idea for another board that you think would be good to have here post your suggestion on the "anything but Reiki" board. But beware,
you may be asked to host it.
You have also noticed the "hosted by" text at the top. i have set it up so that boards can have "hosts" who have administrative control and who is there to answer questions. I have asked Firekeeper to host this board because he has always given such qreat answeres to various questions. I frequently get questions emailed to me because people think that I am a Reiki Master, when in fact, I am not and don't have a Reiki practice. I believe Firekeeper is a much better person to ask than me so please welcome your new host!
You may have also noticed the "User logged in" feature. This system keeps a list of people who are logged in. If you are logged in and remain inactive for about a half hour, you are automaticly logged out. However, if you check the "remember me" check box when logging in, the next time you view a page you will be automaticly logged in again. When you look at the Home page, you can see a list of people who are logged in. The User Profiles section also lets you list the people who are currently logged in.
There is also advanced search functionality for both the message boards and the user profiles.
Also be sure to try switching between threaded and linear views. The Linear view lets you see the most recently posted messagees at the top of the list and you can switch between the views pretty much any time.
There is still lots to add to this and many changes to make but this is the start!
