Namaste all,
I often have a tingling sensation at the top of my head, as if something keeps brushing lightly over my head. I have only had this feeling, since being attuned to Reiki and it occurs frequently, not just when I'm treating.
Has anyone experienced this sensation and does anyone know what it might be?
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Love and Light
Helen.

Hi Helen,
It is normal to have this feeling after being attuned to Reiki. It is said that it is the crown chakra- your main link with the Universal Energy activating.
Either that or fleas! :-) (Sorry- couldn't resist!)

Helen,
Namaste.
Did you notice a similar sensation when you were attuned?

Hello Firekeeper,
Namaste,
Not that I can remember...loads of colours, hot hands and a joyful feeling...but not this sensation. This has only been since I was attuned and seems to happen more frequently now, than in the beginning.

Helen.

Namaste, Priestess,
Can you elaborate please, I'm intrigued :)...I'm not too good at communicating with my guides yet. I sense them around me sometimes, but I haven't learnt to interpret their messages yet. Any tips would be greatly appreciated :)

Helen,
Namaste.
As you discover these things for yourself and the language you need for 'your' guide(s), the questions will be fewer and fewer - or more and more. :-}}}
I can never get that straight. :-}

Rainbow,
What a great name. Always have loved to see them!!
Like rainbows, our guides are there when we need them.
I get some messages, but not always everything you want to hear. It is like opening a door....Sometimes it opens only a little bit.
YOU tell US what the surprise is! Love and de-light! Priestess

Hello Priestess,
Namaste,
Thank you.
Ever since practicing Reiki, I have always thought of Reiki rainbows, due to the beautiful colours that I have sometimes seen whilst treating...hence the name :)
I found out yesterday that my level II attunement is scheduled for next friday...I think that this may have been the surprise :)

Helen,
When I was NEW at meditating and Reiki, I read that you could do meditation on your computer (or word processor). I decided to try it. I did many meditations on the processor, and received many answers. It is still in the file, and sometimes it is interesting to go back and read my questions (very beginning stuff) and the answers I received from my guide. They were always very good answers, and very loving and of course, patient. Most of all, they were MY answers, meant for me.....because of the place I was at at the time.
This may or may not be an idea for you, but you might want to try it.
It is easy, really, Just type your question into the computer, and relax, and let your guides take over. It was always very moving for me, and it helped me to progress faster. Love and Light, Priestess

Helen:
Namaste.
I am fairly new to all of this(Attuned to Reiki I in April), however I have been meditating on a regular basis for quite some time. I find that I feel the tingly sensation that you describe most often while meditating. It is a sure way for me to know my guides and other spirits are close by. I meditate with a group of about ten on a weekly basis. The room is so charged with energy that the "tingley feeling" is not only around the crown chakra but can be felt around the entire body.
Just flow with it and see where it takes you.
Blessings!

Namaste,
Thank you for your thoughts, they are appreciated.
I too have only been attuned for a few months, but it's wonderful isn't it :)
