Damaged chakras

Namaste All,

I am curious as to what happens to the chakras when a major operation is carried out. For instance, when someone has a heart by-pass, what happens to the heart chakra...is it damaged and can it be repaired with Reiki. Does anyone have any ideas? If it is a silly question, then I apologise in advance, I know very little about the chakras, other than where they are in the body.

Many thanks
Helen.

Rainbow,

I am not going to give you physical reasons, just the metaphysical one that I know.

Most people think that the aura is a composite of the physical. In fact it is the other way around. If the aura, and the astral bodies are healthy, they keep the physical body healty. Where there is an operation, the 'memory' of the aura, works to make the physical healthy as well. If anyone has a better explanation, go for it.

There are many books out there that will answer your questions in detail. Take a look at Barbara Brennan's "hands of light" and "light emerging" also anything that Carolyn Myess writes will give you a super view, better than anyone on the board, with such deep questions....

Love and Light, Priestess

Helen,
All your questions are always great and relevant. If you have a question chances are there are about 50 people that we never hear from that have that same question so no questions are silly. Got it?!!! We love you darn it!

Priestess, great book referance. Barbara Brennan is the leader when it comes to healing auras, the different ways to healing chakras and hands on healing in general. She is really great and will answer all those questions.

Love and light,
Joanna

Helen,

Sat Nam.

There is much more to the subtle organs than just the major chakras. There are many minor chakras and nadis as well which may indicate the effects of damamge to the 'physical' body as well; or the chakra injury elsewhere.

But there are many excellent sources available - although depending on the tradition, the information may vary a little - chakra associated colors sometimes is one of the areas where differences occur - though some may be minor.
