The Reiki Cafe 

Hello:

I would like to know what you think about sending Reiki to a financial situation to help clear up whatever is causing the problem. For me it is a fear of lack that is manifesting itself right now and causing financial problems (I keep getting a very strong message on this... pretty sure its the problem) I feel kinda funny sending Reiki but I have read so much about people sending Reiki to other similar types of situations. My intent isn't to set the world on fire financially... just clear up my fear of lack and get out of our rut of one step forward and two steps back. It just started with our move here and I would really like it to go away.

Suggestions anyone?

It is said that when situations like this arise in your life concerning money, that your Buddhist past lifes are coming into play.

All the money fears we have stem from the base Chakra, so maybe if you did some work on the base Chakra as well...

But I cant see there being any problem with sending Reiki to the situation but I would recommend the self healing first. Sending the energy to the situation will not be a permanent fix.

As many of us are decendants of depression babies, fear and lack tend to dominate our thinking about our way in the world. Fear in any form is a call for love, trust and healing. I've run into many people in the "New Age" community that believe on some level that money is unspiritual. Bravo to you for the understanding that any place fear or lack reside, God does not.

My work with prosperity has been a long one and the biggest thing I've learned is that money difficulties come from the mind. If I believe I'm poor, I might poo-poo an idea that comes to me for income with negative thinking. My suggestion would be to send Reiki to your relationship to money and ask for clarity and enlightenment. Much of it in my experience has taught me it is about not feeling worthy. If I don't see it, I can't ask for help to heal it.

I treat myself inbtensely on every new issue or old issue still around until it is completely resolved. Some have taken nine years. I also use the second symbol to provide Reiki energy for specific situations, having no attachment to the outcome. I also use Reiki assistance for manifesting techniques I may be using. I am not an example of a great deal of financial abundance but that is due to my still having interference. I know all these things work.

I think you might be on the right track, identifying your thoughts and fears about abundance and lack. It has helped me to begin to think of money as another form of energy, one that is positive or negative depending upon intent. Like all energies, it requires some respect, and it also requires some specific intent. I got into the habit of writing down things I wanted and putting them on in a silver dish, which I would Reiki regularly. When I cleaned it out a few months later, I tossed the slips with the things I had received. Some of the things I had forgotten about; others seem only like wishful thinking at the time I put them in. After a while, I noticed the pile was pretty big. Just a suggestion. Also, a great book I'm reading is "Creating Money," by Sanaya Roman and Duane Parker. I hope this helps.
