The Reiki Cafe 

I would like to inquire about the experience of the 21 day cleansing the body goes through following an attunemnt. I am currently going through the process. Also, my dreams at night are very vivid and colorful just as my Reiki Master advised. I would like to know what others experienced.

21 days seems to be rather an "arbitrary" bench-mark for the cleansing/balancing. I really do not know how it started and who or how 21 days was selected -

Peoples' "cleansing" response times can be quite different -from really only a few hours to a day or so to months.

I suspect that people who had already been doing energy work of some tradition prior to reiki may have somewhat different experiences that those new to energy work and reiki.

I was attuned 2 weeks ago this coming Sunday. The first week was pretty wild. Lots of energy. Little need for sleep. A constant buzz. The second week has leveled off quite a bit or I got use to it one. Still lots of energy. Thought it was a joke at first then buzzzzzzzz... guess I was wrong. Also been doing a Sitting Tai Chi set and the ability to feel the energy flow was multiplied greatly.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have, It has been a eye opener.

so glad to find others newly attuned. i recieved level 1 attunements 3/23 so into 2nd week of cleansing.. alot of blocks releasing woohooooo...my eye chose not to open during attunment but i feel wonderful!! i think i am starting to open...yet trying not to wish it away .leaving things in spirits cabable hands=)

Hey Katinka~

One thing I noticed that was my clarvoyancy picked up QUITE A BIT!!! I sometimes have to be careful as to what is flying out of my mouth (more than before!! :c) ...). Everyone's experience can be different. I also know that I was a moody little ##### for a few days and had no clue why. All I can say is enjoy it though... it IS worth it!!
