The Reiki Cafe 

Hello. I am recently attuned to R II. Prior to using Reiki, I know it is good to call ones guides for help. I was wondering how others do this and how you "feel or hear" the results. I would also like to share that when I got attuned to Level I, I kept hearing the phrase "This is Beautiful Love" over and over. I had a very comfortable feeling. I felt is was my guides reassuring me. I would love to hear other's experience or thoughts on this.

Congratulations on your R II:0)) As for asking your guides, do judt that:0)) Ask. They will hear you and be there for you. It sounds as thugh you can already hear them anyway.

Thank you. And, I just want to let you know that I really enjoy this forum and it is well moderated and an inspirational source for someone new to Reiki, like me.

Hi Butterfly,

Namaste.

I am a Reiki II and I have never yet heard my Guides. However, I think that I may have met one of them in a dream and I do sense them around my face and neck when I'm treating with Reiki. I believe that I will learn to communicate with them when the time is right, until then, I think that they have their own ways of letting us know that they are there.

I always feel very protected to know that they are near :)

Hi. There's a very good book you might want to read about channeling guides. It's by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer and it's called "Opening To Channel:How To Connect With Your Guide". If you're interested in taking it further, then this might be what you're looking for :)

You may never know who your guides are:) You just know they are there when you need them, all you have to do is ask.
Don't let it hassle you. It may be that if you are a 'need to know' person, the lesson you are getting from this is to go on trust:))

Namaste Helen. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. It is comforting to know that others are having similar experiences. I am sure my guides exist. I often wonder about them tho. How many, who, what they are trying to tell me. I have to remind myself to listen to them more often. Rosemary Altea makes some very good points in her books about being patient and quiet. Yes, so far :) I've friends who've become really good channelers with this book - in fact they recommended it. It really is excellent. It's like riding a bike and also like playing a musical instrument. You don't forget how to do it, and the more you do it, the better you'll become ;)
