I opened a Reiki practice in January of this year, and although the treatments are powerful and well received, and people are very excited to come see me, I have few appointments. I am "out there" talking to people, and spending time daily meditating and doing self treatment. Any other suggestions? I have hooked up with a few other practioners, but nobody who is at the place I am. (nuns, or people who are not sure where they are going with this.)
thanks! Feather

Hi Feather, namaste ....
My experience was that things started slowly ... probably as they should ....
I just believed the practise would grow and accepted it would happen at the right time ...
At first I just had a trickle of people who came, and were happy, and continued to come ...
Then I was asked by a nurse who knew I did Reiki, whether I would speak at a local hospital - I did, and from that talk I had quite a few new clients.
And then - well it suddenly took off - each person coming seemed to know about three other people who were interested in coming, and at the moment, I am having difficulty fitting everybody in ... I am considering a waiting list, because for regular clients, I like to be able to assure them of continuity of treatment.
So have trust - it is only a few months since January when you say you began, and these things do take time to build, and recommendation is one of the loveliest ways to find new clients.
I wish you much joy in your Reiki practise ...
love and light
