Namaste everyone!!!!!

I have just come out of (what I think to be) a crisis point during my Reiki delvelopment. Processing so many emotions, nights have been restless containing many vivid dreams about personal issues.

Just like to mention I AM aware of having an ego (the yukky type), being stubborn and very insecure and I am trying to change!!!!

For the last three nights before I have fallen asleep I have sensed extreme vibrations in my body. It feels as though I become lighter and could just about drift away if I don't stay alert.
Finally I'm getting to the point about my ears...

I woke up this morning with a very big ache in my throat.....drifted off..then woke again to hear an additional ringing in my ears to accompany the usual one I always have...and my throat ache was gone.
As soon as I heard some loud noises it was as though they reached the centre of my head. The sounds seemed to cause a bass vibration in the back of my head.
Im must say I have been kinda scared!!!!!!!!
Has anone experienced the same things or has an explanation to what could be happening?

My experience was different but I feel somehow it relevant to share it.

About a couple of years ago, a while after I first started doing reiki, I was asleep in my bed. I woke up to a feeling like a buzzing all over my body. It was really strong but only slightly scary. I just let it happen for a while then it changed to the buzzing coming in waves. Then a womanish voice asked me what I wanted. I think I answered something about money and freedom. I then felt I was buzzing spinning round and round for ages, even although I could feel myself lying on the bed. It was very weird. A couple of times since the wave-like buzz happened again but not for a good long while now. Although strangely enough its been in my mind again lately!

I asked lots of questions about it afterwards and the answer I got was that I was being re-wired. I accepted this answer, as if part of me understood (!!) but in this reality I still don't really know what re-wiring is or means - apart from changes!

I don't know if it helps you to know this or not but it was nice to remember it, especially as I said it's been in my mind lately.

What you've started to accomplish is what's called a Reiki crisis. Deep healing that may appear to be scary and make you uncertain of the benefits. Controlling our ego's
is a intense and usually first step of the process. So let me try and some it up in just a few words. Keep in mind that we do not master Reiki, Reiki masters us. But In short...
IF YOU CAN POOP FIVE FLAVORS OF ICE CREAM RIGHT NOW
YOUR DIFFERENT THAN ANYBODY ELSE AND YOUR SPECIAL.
That's not to say your not special just humbly(sp?) keep your perspectives.
The lightness you feel is a release of burdons you've been carrying and have now found resolution for. I presume the ache in your throat was at the base of your anterior (front) neck, right near the top of your breast
bone at a notch you can feel with a finger. That's very close proximity to your voice box. It's ironic that ego is boastful through our voice, and that same ego is humbled in the reverse manner by a Reiki crisis.
the ringing in your ears, there's any old saying that ringing in one's ears means someone is talking about you.
How true this maybe, My question is.. are your guides telling you to listen to yourself, or have you finally started listening to your positive self ?
For a short time after Reiki three I heard a high pitched ringing in both my ears and into the center of my head. So loudly I might add that I couldn't complete the instruction from my teacher. I had to go back
and finish the last part of the class a few days later.
Since that time I need only to begin meditation and the ringing returns, along with a variety of other sounds. However I'm able to control the ringing and it took some time to accomplish this.
All these experiences are to get you to trust yourself,
and to create an equilibrium with your ego.
The base sound you hear, is it percieved in the back right portion of your head and right ear?? And does it sound
like it's outside of your head ?

just thought i would share with you an experience i had a few months ago,i was on holiday with my friends and we all went swimming i went on a water slide an hurt my neck,later on i complained to my friend lou ,so she said she would do some reflexology on me ,during her touching my feet i jumped as i felt like a hot needle was being pushed through my foot ,then my legs went all tingly an numb i had my eyes closed and i could see feel this type of pulse waves washing over me at this point i burst into tears now this is not something i wanted to do ,my friend lou carried on giving me reiki and said to carry on crying <not that i could stop ,then the most wonderfull thing happend a blue type light appeared with my eyes closed? sounds weird but true . it got closer and at this time the wave feeling became more intence, the light went all over my face and with that exploded and shot what felt like a million bolts through my body,it really did change a lot of things for me a now i want to learn a share reiki with everyone thats why it is now my mission to learn reiki

The throat ache WAS where you presumed.

I suspect the ringing in my ears is part of my guidance that I am only just beginning to listen to. The fact that it is chronic could be my constant reminder to listen to my positive self (as you mentioned).

I must say the base sound I heard and felt I wished away quickly because I became anxious. I am sure it was inside my head and pretty much in the centre and at the level where the curve at the back of the neck begins....possibly in my inner earS too.

Thanks for the light shed upon my "metamorphosis," in life.

hi , my name is juan and i can give you mi opinion of what you went through, first, since you have been working on reiki, you body, you emotions and your spirit are healing itself and geting atune by the universal energy, during night is where we are most of the time without self control, then that's why you feel so many sensations that you don't feel while you are awake.
second, those hearing you are listening, it's because since you have some kind of atunenment with the universe, then there is no boundaries to your senses, then it seems that you where listening things that you shouldn't, in my opinion this can be resolve working on aurea, you have to circle yourself with a white buble before you go to sleep, and some how it will help, what happened to you means that right now you are going beyond your comprehension, don't worry, you will learn that sometimes we no need answers, just enjoy andmake use of what take place. and put a positive thinking.

I personally have not experienced loud sound, but it is just another form of vibration, like color, crystals, or essential oils possess. In my dreams and in my sessions after Reiki II and III, I experienced whole body vibrations, and spinning sensations after Reiki II where I had to crawl to the bed and hold on!!! I was just at a sound healing workshop, and experienced the joyful healing of a deep, loud vibration from a Didgeridoo, a big "horn" from Australia. When the healer applies the sound up and down the spine, it is very deep healing!! Sounds like one of your Reiki guides was into sound healing.
Do not fear!! Only good comes from Reiki. Rejoice in the power of your healing!
