The Reiki Cafe 

Having seen so many examples of attunement - traditional to a single method for all levels I got in touch with Frank Ajava Petter in Japan( author of Reiki Fire)

I asked him if Dr.Usui attuned intuitively with only one method of attunement - for all levels.

Reply was - He doesnt know anyone who knows how Dr. Usui attuned. INTERESTING for all you traditionalist's who insist your method is the only right way.

My comment is that in all the time on the cafe, and I have read everyday.....not once did I see any indication of practioners that have lineage with Dr. Usui claim to "insist" that his method is the only right way. I find that most visiting this site and an enormous understanding that we are here to learn from another and love without judgement.

So, am I to assume that you think your method is correct because you are non-traditional?

Like Jasanine, I can say I have not personally come across anyone who has insisted their way is the only way. My own path with Reiki has been very traditional but no matter what labels anyone puts on it or claims they make about their "brand" of Reiki, there is only one Reiki energy. I have to believe that those who choose to make Reiki part of their lives will act with integrity and with acceptance of others and the path they choose with Reiki. Reiki is Universal Life Force, it cannot be owned or copyrighted by anyone. I have it as a blessing in my life and I wish joy to everyone else who has it in theirs.
