The Reiki Cafe 

Hi! Joanna mentioned a chat room forum in a post which I just read. I can't seem to find a chat room attached to this site. Is there one? Or are you all referring to the chat room attached to the old whitefire.com/reiki address?

I have some chat room experience from reikilnks. It can get very confusing for me with three or more people in the room because there almost always seem to be several threads of conversations going! I can deal with 2 main conversations and a max of about 4 or 5 people and after that I can "lose" it.

For me, the only exception to that seems to be how healing circles work. In those there is a central focus of attention. That can be easier. Still, even with the potential for confusion, I find chat room experiences to be wonderful. It gives those of us with less than optimal reiki connections "in the neighborhood," a place to meet and talk in real time. Also, I find I like having friends all over the world! I will watch for more pre-set times for chat room connections. Blesssings, batwings

Joanna was talking about the chat room on the whitefire version. Unfortunatly I have not had much time over the last few weeks to work on the site. In my day job, my manager moved to another department and I ended up acting in his place so I have been working more and just haven't had the energy.

I will be putting a chat room here soon and I'm also doing a redesign of the look of the whole site. (actually a co-worker did the redesign, I just have to make the changes).
