Appearing Manic After Reiki Two

Hello.

I am a person that if anything is known for being on the depressed side, although never even considered severe enough to have diagnosible depression. Since being attund to Reiki two I have been Ms. Energy. The craziest part of this has been a desire to get all of the clutter out of my home. This has resulted in numersue bags of stuff being sent off to Goodwill on a regualr basis. This is all not a bad thing except for the fact I am having a hard time even sitting still in class or settling down long enough to study. I did not open a law book all weekend, which is not a good thing when I am supposed ot be in my second year of law school and focusing on getting my grades up. Any ideas on what to do about this would be great.

Thank you. Blessings.

Hi Shauna,

namaste,

Well, reiki does make some changes in us.

I have always, until reiki been a person who reads. (books everywhere, purse, car, bathroom, etc,) After reiki it simply became books on healing, reiki, angels, etc. (I have got to clean out my library!)

I think I used books previously to close out the real world, and be in an imaginary world. Because I did close everything out while reading.

That place continued for some time, and my interest in novels, etc., became nonexistant.

Now I seem to be really seeing the real world, I am only intested in books when they can really teach me something, and it had better be quick and to the point. I find movies/tv lacking substance for the most part, sitcoms (which I used to really like) childish, and find myself looking for something interesting to read or do while it is running.

I don't think it is unusual that you don't find the books as interesting as you once did, or the studying now interupted. You may or may not decide to stay on the path that you have already set pre-reiki.

Your needs and interests are changing.

When you drop a pebble into a still pond, the ripples go in all directions at once. One small change in one part of your life, requires adjustments in all areas of your life.

Don't beat up on yourself. This is all new to you, and you will be able to work through it.

Blessings,

Priestess

Hi Shauna...
The cleansing from Reiki 2 is in full swing..
Fun huh!!!

As for your school work..
I think right now, your self healing is more
important..
That is why Spirit gave you the Path of Reiki 2..
To force you to stop & heal..
If you heal you will be more focused and more able
to do work...

Spirit is trying to tell you something..
It is in your best interest to listen..
Maybe you are burning the candal from both sides
this past 2 years..
Take a few minutes/hours/days to heal...
Then you can concentrate on School work..

The Bear Smiles,
Peace,
Joe

Hello.

I think that when it comes down to it there is far more to me then school. Still, it was partialy Reiki that helped me to realize that I have strong passion for law. I know now that I want to be become a lawyer who focuses on international disability human rights law. I am coming to realize that one of the reasons for my disability is so that I have the passion and understanding to get out there and help others with disabilites. Unfortunatly, that means I have to study so that I can seriusly get my grades up. What I do this next year, as a second year law student, is critical to my law carrer. I love Reiki, but I am getting conserned that it is interfering. I know that all happens for a reason and that thigns do work out, but I feel like I am being torn in multiple directions.

Blessings.

Shauna,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- sometimes clearing can increase available energy because we are taking in the same ammopuntws but using it more directly - less crdu to deal with

- some simple grounding before you sit down with your books may help re-set your focus and Mindfulness

Shauna,

If the matter is that problematic (to the point that it's interfering with your life), why not ask your teacher for help?

Bright blessings; hail Eris!

Shauna,

If you want to try the Qabbalistic Cross, may I suggest a reference like Donald Michael Kraig's 'Modern Magic'? He gives a thorough but accessible explanation along with detailed instructions, including visualizations.

Unfortunately, there are any number of shall we say, idiosyncratic versions of standard practices out there; using them can result in anything from less-than-optimum results to potential problems. [For example, in your spare time...*hysterical laughter here*...check out the difference between Kraig's version of the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram and the massacre performed on same by Silver RavenWolf.]

Bright blessings; hail Eris!

Shauna,

Most welcome. However, there is a strong opinion that the Q.C. is for centering, not grounding (a read of it will make that clear).

Bright blessings; hail Eris!
