Permission to send Reiki / Prayers

Namaste ,

Discussing the "permission" aspect of sending Reiki or any kind of prayers to someone, a friend shared the following:

She said several weeks ago a friend was going through some difficult times, she phoned a friend to also send prayers ( of the kind he works with) . Initially the person accepted the Prayers.

Prayers were again sent at another time and they were "not accepted" according to the person who sent them.

Apparently, "not accepted" as the person "needed " to be where they were at the time and work through it within their own time, which they have and are now open to Reiki and Prayers from anyone ( at least at this time.)

I found it helpful to know that on some level, if a person does not want to accept Reiki or prayers, that they will not be accepted, thus not to worry if sent with highest, greatest good intent, and with "intent", that if the person (s) does not want to accept it, they may
decline and this will be honored and respected.

Interested in hearing from others sharing undertanding of this "Permission" concept.

Namaste,

To clarify a bit---the person to whom the Prayers were being sent, was not aware either time that the prayers were being sent. One time they "accepted" the prayers ,another time they did not "accept" the prayers. (Obviously "deciding" on a higher level of understanding).

Blessings,
