Hi,

Has anybody had any experience with bach flower remedies? The best way to take them in your opinion? Side effects? Has anyone tried the cream for skin complaints and had any result? Thanks!

I have often used bach flower remedies - Rescue Remedy both in cream and tincture is excellent. I have an excellent set of cards designed by Gudrun Penselin which has brought a new interpretation to the essences which makes them easier to select and use from an esoteric point of view. She includes informati about chakras, colours & numbers. I have always found the classifications used by Bach himself a little "stark". I use the cards to select two or three essences that I need and then make a bottle up containing the correct number of drops of each, mixed with water. I use this during the day to add to drinks or direct onto the tongue.

My niece (age 8) has been taking Flower drops since she was 4. She has some allergies and a very 'sensitive' emotional nature.

When she uses the drops she rarely cries or has an allergy attack. When she doesn't she can be just a little brat!

That's my experience with them. I've tried them on myself but they just didn't 'vibrate' with me.

Dear Graham,
I've used the cream for many things, from pesky mosquito bites, to strange terribly itchy bumps my son had... (see 7945 Reiki Healing Requests) with great success.

As for the flower essences, I've only started using them. I use one that meets my son's emotional needs... it does make a difference and really balances him.

As far as I can tell, there are no side effects - except improved health ;-)

I have never tried the cream, but have used the drops "Rescue Remedy", which has stopped angry feelings instantly in myself. Have used Aspen with my cat who is very fearful, and it seems to help. used others with my son for problems with negativity in regards to athletic abilities. He is thirteen. he said it does not make the problem go away , but it makes him more willing to change his attitude.

I have used 'rescue', as have many other people, obviously. Usually after a doctor's/dentist appointment. It helps the treatment 'settle' more easily.

For the most part, I use Perelandra essences. Use them quite often, as a matter of fact, particularly after a meditation that calls for a little adjustment. bagl

I don't mix them, except occasionally in water. Just put the drops under the tongue as recommended.

No side effects as yet!

Thanks to everybody for your experiences and insight, it really is appreciated :) Since i posted, a couple of my friends i recommended the cream to are having really good results, and i'm going to try some of the individual remedies myself. Thanks!
