The Reiki Cafe 

Good Morning all,

While reading the posts today, I realized that I no longer think of Reiki as just energy but as love.
If we allow it to, Reiki opens our hearts, minds & spirits & connects us to all living things.
It is always available & never harms.

Perhaps it is Divine Essence? A small drop from the vast bottomless well of the Divine Spirit....

We all have our opinions, but is it more important to be right than to act from a position of love?

Thank you all for sharing in the Cafe, it has helped me grow in Reiki & in love.

Although, I have MUCH progress yet to make, so ,please, dont go anywhere just yet. :)

I agree with you 100% - reiki is love.

This is also why I think that reiki flows where its needed, when its needed. Its not only about people lying down on a couch so that we can put our hands on them. We simply carry the reiki energy around with us spreading it where its needed. Its there in every word we say, every word we write, every breathe we take in or out.

Not everyone thinks like this but I see it working all the time.

Just after being attuned to Reiki, I wrote this poem, your post reminded me and i hope you don't mind me sharing it :)

This Love that is Reiki

It started as a small glow,

no bigger than the flame of a solitary candle.

Flickering and glowing,it seemed to call me,

telling me that I needed to 'know'

Like a flower in bud,

the heat and love opening the petals of my soul.

The warmth seeping through my veins,

molten love replacing the blood.

The light grows bigger each day,

it warms my starved soul, like the desert sun on my face.

It fills me with a joy,that I could never quite remember,

like a beacon, it guides my way.

It heals the pain,releases the tears.

Like the cleansing of rain on a dark stormy night,

dawn brings pure loving Light,flooding into my soul.

Reiki Love has released me from fear.

Well, I do believe you are right.
Reiki is a catalyst working through us & in us.
My day is better when I Reiki, simply because it keeps me in touch with love. My behaviour's still rotten at times but boy I sure do bounce back faster. :)

Hmmmm......pretty amazing isnt it, that you summed the Reiki experience up in that poem after your attunement?

On restrospection about this "reiki love" topic, I looked up the Angel of Love in "Angel Blessings" by Kimberly Marooney. A quote follows fom the page on which Hadraniel, the Angel of Love is found.(Hydraniel is in the First Order of Heart Angels) "To love for the sake of being loved is human, but to love for the sake of loving is angelic."--Alphonse de Lamartine.

It is recommended to ask Hydraniel to help one become aware of any fear ( which "forms a cage around the heart ") that prevents one from receiving love and to work through any fears ,angers, resentments until they are transformed into love. Apparently Angel Hadraniel and the Heart Angels help with this when asked. Deep breathing in situations of discomfort helps also to release fears and open to the love and light.

A Biokinesiology Class taught also, just repeating "Love, love ,love..." is strengthening to energy field. Repeating "Love" while doing the thymus thump was also recommended.

Love-"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love, I am nothing. Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always trusts,always hopes, always perseveres...And now these
