Yesterday I was driving and was at the far east end of the highway and five minutes later I was all the way to the far west. I have no memory of passing thru the city and tunnel that would get me from one point to another and furthermore that trip would of taken at least 1/2 hr if not more. I was so confused but I just turned around and came home shaking my head. I don't do drugs, drink and have not been having any other memory problems. This freaked me out.

I have to say...yes, very prone to daydreams. In fact my biggest struggle in all spiritual endevour, reiki, yoga, meditation is staying grounded.

Now that two days have passes since this happened I can only think I must have been daydreaming. I still can't figure out how fast I got there though.

I'm almost tempted to go back and re-drive the route but I've got better things to do so I'll just let it go. :0)

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Hi Annie
Should we avoid Phoenix (LOL)
I have had simaler expierances and they do worry me at the time, especially when I realise that I am not where I thought I would be. I have, at times put it down to Alien abduction, but now see it as being away with my thoughts.
Grounding is important. There are many grounding exercises out there.

have a good thanksgiving and please think of us poor Brits who will not be having a holiday on Thursday (LOL)

Otoharo!

orinschild, Daydreaming can accomplish all you describe except the time factor. It is possible to leave one spot, arrive at another without traversing the in-between. I have a friend, who approached a wreck scene just beyond a hill. She had no way to go around it, but she came to on the other side of the wreck. How did that happen, she never knew, but it did.

Hm, very odd experience. Especially since I'm in Phoenix too and know how far you would have to go (with no traffic?)

Although, I do tend to daydream a little when there is no traffic and driven past my exits many times.

Rob - yes you should avoid Phoenix, today it is sunny, beautiful and not too cold (68 degrees), the sunsets are beautiful, and you can hike to the top of a mountain in the middle of the city.

Blessings,

We will let you visit Rob. If you have any trouble with the traffic while you're here just ring me up and I'll get you a pass for the astral highway. :0)

Thanks for everyone's post.

Desert Wolf do you learn Reiki here in Phoenix? From who?

From Terri Snyder, who I highly recommend. She has been wonderful, and is one of those people that emanates love and kindness. Is she the same as your friend Terri who introduced you to Reiki?

Hi,
Well, what you described is not so unusual, although the time frame may be longer than average. Most of us at one time or another have done something similiar. Usually involves a task that is a habit ( like driving to work every day)or something we just do repetitively, our mind goes somewhere else & the auto pilot kicks in. Perhaps there is something on your mind that was more important to you & that was where your attention went.

peace & joy,
holobon

Hi Desert Wolf, No I did not receive my attunements from Terri. I received them from Sangeet owner of The Healing Source. She is also a Kundalini Yoga Teacher. My friend Terri is from Canada.

Holobon, I was blissfully happy at the time. I was returning from Ikea (my fav. store) which has finally opened in AZ. My trunk was full of home decor.
