I think "enlightenment" can Either be seen as a large realm with many parts or stages (?even types?) in it OR the general "results" it provides a person after being enlightenment.

Enlightenment being a big realm, to me, would allow a person to be enlightened in any of the disciplines that one can become enlightened in.
Another possible way to look at the idea of a realm is that there are many topics to choose from.... but each topic includes certain amount of steps to take before obtaining full enlightenment. Hence, we have training sessions and levels.

Our ability to preceive situations etc as being part of learning and/or being more "one" with everything other that ourselves may then determine how enlightened we have become....

What do you think about the thought: "enlightenment" is like coming out of some form of darkness in the "light"
Also to go from the unvisited thoughts to the well established knowledge.

the list of "what can enlightenment emcompass" can go on and on....

I think a wise person would let others figure things out.
