The Reiki Cafe 

I just posted a healing request for my father in law whose lung cancer has returned and is in the lymph nodes. Does anyone have any treatments or remedies they could recommend based on experience? He is 71 and pretty conservative. He has given me permission to do distant sessions even though he doesn't completely understand Reiki. I would appreciate anyone's insight or advice. Posting for distance reiki practices is a good step.

- in your own work - hands-on or distance - be sure that the Thymus gets a real good dose as well as the lungs directly and the arm pits and under the jaw by the neck - all major lymph-node sites - you want the energy directed as specifically as possible.

- your father-in-laws first name would be helpful and the state in which he lives would be useful too tough not necessary.

I will add him to my reiki list for nightly practices when I know his name.

you might mention that you made this request for him to be sure he givces permission for more than people than just you.

My father had lung cancer in his early seventies, and was diagnosed inoperable. But he has now been completely clear for more than five years. The doctors do not know why he recovered. My mother is convinced that his recovery is due to diet. She gave him all the foods (such as broccoli) which are recommended for cancer. My father believes it is due to his positive attitude: he refused to give in, even when the doctors told him he had only days left.

At that time I was not practising reiki.

I recently read a book (by a Dr.Duarte in the U.S.) about shark meat helping cancer; but I cannot vouch for this on personal experience.

Well, I don't suppose the above will be new to you. But I offer it just in case, and to show that there is hope.
