hello all! im looking for a good massage table around $200 to $230. does anyone have any suggestions where to look or used tables they are selling or looking to get rid of. ive been to ebay and some other places online but in my town there is no store where they sell massage tables. im just wondering what some other reiki practioners could suggest in terms of price and quality.

faithinfire,
William Rand offers tables on his site and I do recall them being around $225 so you might check that out.

faithinfire,
Do you have any massage schools nearby? They are sometimes good resources for used tables.
I will also post a site on the resources board for an online classifieds that has local nationwide sites. I have found them to be a good resource for many things.
I paid 300 for my table which was near new on consignment at a massage supply store. (it retailed for just over 600)
I looked a lot of places and saw a lot of really poorly made tables for not much less so take your time and be picky.

Otoharo!
I bought mine from Heartland catalog. I paid $150, new. I notice it is availoable now for 140. It is foldable, the legs are wooden. 250 lb capacity. It has been adequate. (However, I have had someone who weighed nearly that who prefered to sit in a chair.) When I took it to Breitenbush last year, several people were sitting on it and I was worried.

Good Morning!
I just read your post and wnated to say tht I found my table at Sam's club and I know Costco sells them once in a while too. I paid 150.00! It is a great table with all attachments and carrying case.
One thought, get a table that can hold weight of 300lbs or better. People are getting heavier and there is nothing worse than having a fragile person feel worse being on a rickety table. I have had pople ask if my table will hold them and it is nice to tell them not to worry.
Also, if you are gpoing to be taking your table up and down alot, make sure to tighten the leg bolts each time and go over mechanicals now and then. We have to consider the safety of the client.
Good luck in your hunting,
Tracey
