Peace everyone... :)
Regarding my decision to move to Wyoming... I have found a most wonderful employment for myself and my husband which would be running a beautiful motel in the town of Douglas, Wyoming. We are such a perfect fit for this but I think they might have some reservations cuz we are from Chicago. I just sent off another email to them expressing our desire to move with our resumes, which have the skills that they are looking for. I'm not sure how exactly to ask for help in this but I need these people to really take a good look at our skills and desire, not at where our present location is at right now... This is so much my dream, and ironically this is the second time I've received an email regarding this position at the motel (I have a profile in a Wyoming newspaper which sends updates to me via email). So, whatever type of "energy" you all could help me send to them would be so greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much....

Will send good energy for the situation! This sounds so perfect......wonder why they would have reservations about where you would be coming from? Lots of Chicago people end up out west very happy.
Will keep you in prayers and light,
Feather

joanne,
Hi.
Have 'they' given permission for others to send energy to them? If not then I certainly do not feel it is proper to do so and especially in a matter that seems too much like your agenda and not really reiki.
Cheers,
RC

Dear Wolflady,
A friend once told me that some employers are reluctant to hire people still living in the north as so many cant "cut the mustard" after relocating to Florida & decide to move back where they grew up. That leaves the employer with having to rehire & retrain. I was so surprised to hear this but later saw that very same scenario with a coworker from up north. The cultural change & the hot weather was too much for her, she was miserable & moved back with hubbie & kids from wence they came. All it takes is one bad experience or hearing of one to make an employer leery. Larger employers may have more of a cushion than a smaller employer or one in a town with less resources to draw from.
If you have vacationed or visited the area, done extensive research into a change in lifestyle, etc. you might want to work that into your communications. If not, perhaps it would be a good time to start. Good luck.
peace & joy,
holobon

Otoharo!
Joanne, the only way we can help in this situation is to be with that situation in reiki and let the chips fall as they might. We can't set the energy to bring about a certain result. The result is the business of reiki not us.

Dear Wolflady,
Wyoming has it's good points. It's peaceful and people tend to mind their own business more, as small towns go, however not much diversity and they do not want new businesses starting up by outsiders.
However congratulations on your new employment. If you were chosen then, you ought to be ok by them. Just introduce new ideas slowly. I've lived there. Wyomingites like to be in charge.
peace,
Prosperity

Dear Prosperity,
Thanks so much for your response. Unfortunately I have not been chosen by them yet, I've only spoken on the phone to them and they just asked me to fax over my credentials to them. I have heard no response at all, which is very discouraging. I've sent my resume to several different jobs out there, and my qualifications are excellent, but I'm just not hearing back from anyone at all. It's just getting very depressing as I really need to get out of this city where I am at. I've lived in the mountains before and it's a place where I just really want to be. I'm just not happy here any more; my job has become very dissapointing because I have to wonder now each time I get paid whether or not my paycheck is going to bounce, which has happened 3 times now out of 3 paychecks. I'm not living in the best of areas either with police constantly patrolling the area due to the gangs & crime, which makes it extremely hard to keep a smile on my face. It's really just draining me spiritually and I keep fighting with myself to keep the hope up. But, enough of my venting.... I really appreciate your words... Thank you.
~~Peace~~

Dear Joanne,
You're welcome. Sorry about your bounced paychecks. I personally liked Chicago alot, although I've never lived there. Both places do get windy and cold. Wyoming doesn't really have mountains. Some hills. Mostly flat. It really is boring though. Not many black people; very Christiany; and homophobic. The rent is cheap and not many jobs.
Good luck,
Prosperity

Otoharo!
If you are looking for mountains there are lots more every where than where you applied. I am not up to date on job opportunities here, but we have mountains, rivers, forests, the ocean, and lots more!
