Hiya,

On a similar vein to the "double didgit" post; What would the significance be of 11:11 ? A friend of mine notices this on clocks alot and also recieves emails and texts from people with this time on it, sometimes even with 11 seconds on it also.
Anyone know what this might signify?

I see no reason for thinking it means other than a communication from their angels. What else could it mean? Ego may be pushing to get some distraction from the angels.

- or perhaps there is some symbolism to the "ratio" that is also implied by the 'statement' 11:11. Thus, 11 is to 11 as ? is to ?

- an unusual ratio question to be sure but, who knows?

- but, let me also ask, does your friend 'look' for 11:11?? Or does this number combination just seem to 'crop up' from time to time? The difference could be important.

- if the former situation, then I might wonder if some sort of obsessive-compulsive dissorder might be developing?? For example, such as people who cannot help counting telephone poles when riding as a passenger in a car

I suppose to certain extent he is now more aware when he recieves texts/emails/phone calls around this time, though it seems to happen more often than for it to be a coincidence.

I just wondered if there is a significance to this number. Or perhaps it is a personal significance to this.

- I know I certainly do not (most of the time)

- looking for and\or making note of the time things happen could be a type of compulsive (or superstitious) behavior as well

Your friend might enjoy reading up on angelic number sequences. Doreen Virtue indicates that all 1's are prompting you to check your thoughts -- in that moment you notice the numbers, the Universe is especially receptive to your thought patterns in terms of manifesting your heart's desire.

Myself, I enjoy numbers and numerology and often find synchronicity between my emotional state, connection to the Universe, and a number that pops up.

Does it "mean" or "predict" anything? Who knows, but at the least, numbers are useful in prompting me to check in with my thoughts to see whether they're pulling me in the desired direction. Noticing numbers is one of many things that helps me keep my thoughts positive.

One guess for your friend, might be that s/he is being nudged to look within and see what deep desire is trying to get her attention. Recognizing that what you choose to look at can end up changing your life!

Whoa big fella..... ocd!!!!!!!

Quite the jump from noticing numbers to a severe mental disorder. Since I am one of the ones this happens to a lot.
I don't quite see the connection.

When it happens to me (sometimes as much as 4 times a day) it makes me smile, center myself and listen for messages. I am not ready to jump off the deep end thinking that because I see :11 I am suffering from a mental illness... although there are those around and some on this board who might disagree and happily throw away the key on my padded cell.

- I am simply offering possibile ways to account for someone 'happening' to notice 11:11 (or any other repetetive phenomenon)

- not all OCDs are "debilitating" though in the severer forms they certainly can be (such as severe hand washing compulsion that interferes with doing just about everythng else - it is a rather amazing belief\behavior system if you have never encountered it in a psychiatric setting)

- so, I am not making any sort of jump (conclusion) about this person in question

- if an OCD is developing then it is important to point out "possible" symptoms - OCDs do not generally pop up over night

- the harm might be in not keeping the discussion open

This has been happening to me for 5 years now and I have posted abt it before. I can see how some people can attached to the phenomenon and start "looking" for it. But the phenomenon is genuine when the numbers jump at you out of the blue when you least expect it: you wake up at 11.11, you buy something and the bill comes to 33:33 etc.

Here's a memorable one: I was explaining that I see license plates with 711 on vehicles a lot to my sister in traffic and at that moment came a vehicle with 711 on it. 711 is a personal favorite of mine since this was house number I grew up in and also the address for the school I worked at. That reminded me of the story of Carl Jung and the theory of synchronicity.

The numbers are speaking, I wish I knew what!

I have a deck of cards with the 11:11 card. It's a mostly white deck and the 11:11 card is, I believe the angelic realm and represents a doorway. Take it with a grain of the salt.

i've forgotten which exactly.
But you can look this up on the web and you might find that it fits exactly with where you are trying to go at this time. Awareness is the key.
