My Dearest MammaBear,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- so glad to see you back at The Cafe.

>:-}}

- briefly, MA is some sort of blending of 'angel work' and mind-body stuff that supposedly acts at the level of our DNA in various ways to "advance" us such as angels bringing "special dispensations" so that our vibratory rates can be increased immediately. This sounds an awful lot like "redemptionism" to me.

- so, overall little I have read about it makes much sense to me

- too much relies on the 'actions' of angels, guides, etc which always strikes me as practitioners eschewing their responsibiities for what they do

- stuff such as 'special dispensations' also suggests that practitioners might have to "do less to get more" - a view rather directly at odds with the workings of Karma (where there are no short-cuts)

- hope this helps

Dearest Firekeeper,

Thanks for the info... I wasn't really expecting that, so glad I asked.

bagl

The person who asked me this had been in an car accident and has been suffering from back pain, perhaps also resulting in some vision issues so I thought it was more of an "energetic alignment" involving chakras, etc.

:-)

I know you'd be interested in this case with your work experience, but have scanty details about it thus far.

"- too much relies on the 'actions' of angels, guides, etc which always strikes me as practitioners eschewing their responsibilities for what they do"

I've read this statement of yours before...

:-)

I have found for myself, that working with guides during a reiki session tends to distract me from my focus… so I have found it better to wait until I finish, then ask if for the good of the recipient, if there is any other way in which I can serve this person that it be made known to me. Always, letting the person I’m working on know that I do this, and give them the option to reject offer.

And some special help has arrived… and indeed, has helped greatly. And of course, I always give thanks.

It is assumed then, that whatever happens, the recipient ultimately does with this what they want. They can ignore it, or embrace it.

As we all know… ultimately, healing comes from within, yes?

:-)

So, am wondering that to not use all resourses available for the good of the recipient would not also be "eschewing" responsibilities if you have the skill to do so… if of course, they wish this.

I understand that it's irresponsible to say that "the angel told me to do that"... then something harmful happens, and they wash their hands of it, saying... “the angel told me to..”

Remember Flip Wilson?

bagl

Or maybe this is not what you are referring to... am I going in the wrong direction with your words?

I would certainly not want to do that...

:-)

Happy to be here in such wonderful company… as always,

Abundant blessings,

Mammabear

MammaBear,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- it is quite possible that there is some post-concussional syndrome?

- this will be quite separate from possible chakra disalignemnt which may have factored into the injury happening, for all I know, not be a result of the injury

>:-}}

- as for angels and the like? Putative resources.

- remember, 'other-realm' entities have their own agendas - they are not there at our beck and call

- and not everyone holds that mortals may 'influence'
"angels, guides, or whatever - thus permission to invoke angels, if that is one's fancy, is no less important, than permission to do reiki, don't you think?? Failing to seek permission has Karmic repurcussions regardless of the 'imagined good' one is trying to do

>:-}}

- remember, delving into the subtle realms to "invoke" can yield 'responses' one does not wish

- "if you call it up, be sure you can put it back" - Severe Maxim

- as for having heard this from me before?

bagl

- nothing in my experience since the last such discussion has changed my views

Dearest Firekeeper,

:-)

Yes, other realm entities have their own agendas, but if those agendas involve me, wouldn’t I sure love to know about it.

BAGL

This Mamma appreciates any help given, and then am so thankful in return.

And yes, I also agree to ask permission in all things.

Giving thanks and asking permission is well…

...it’s just good manners.

:-))))))

As is putting away those things you have “called up”.

Bagl

What did Mama always tell us though… don’t bit off more than you can chew?

So I certainly see your point there.

;-)

I admire your conviction… as always.

:-)

Abundant blessings to you, good man...

... perpetually

In Love and Light,

Mammabear

- you said, in part: "Yes, other realm entities have their own agendas, but if those agendas involve me, wouldn’t I sure love to know about it."

- not everone is as naturally curious as you, MommaBearcat

bagl

- and certainly not everyone 'believes in' or might want to know about 'other realm entities' "spying on them" or, worse yet, interferring in their lives

>:-}}

- yes, convictions based on practices.

>:-}}

- take care,

As always,

I actually chuckled out loud. Did you hear me?

LOL

You certainly are a well mannered man... not spying or interferring and the like.

:-)

Is a phone call an interruption or a "hello"?

The answer is... yes.

LOL

All Love,

MammaBearcat...

My Dearest MommaBearCat,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- the windows of my office vibrated slightly

bagl

- we have a device that zaps most of those "unsolicited" calls and Caller ID so we can see if we wish to answer (or not)

- it is the choice to answer or not that is Key

>:-}}

- yes, some unsolicited calls cannot be prevented from intruding and some must be dealt with sternly - zapped or ignored

- yet, some unexpected calls are from 'folks' we are glad to hear from (they have permission to call - and not get zapped)

bagl

- and similarly Mindfulness is excellent vis a vis 'other realm callers' one may wish to exclude from doings (or include with permissions)

Keeper of that Fire...

Namaste...

Now you know that "cat" curiousity in me is not going to let that phone go unanswered, right?

LOL

And not all unsolicitated calls are worthy of zapping.

Few, I'm sure fit this category, but none the less...

...nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Ok, don't respond to that comment.

LOL

Off to make goodies for a picnic Saturday honoring Grandpabear and his 70 years. What a gathering our clan is planning!

Blessings,
Mammabear

My Dearest MammaBearCat,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- "Caller ID" (phone and oherwise) allows all calls to be screened

- but, anyone is, of course, more than welcome to answer all the telemarketers and other 'solicitors' one could wish for - they will, no doubt, appreciate your 'compassion' - and call you back time and again

>:-}}

- and appreciate you even more for using your your credit cards (gives a whole additional meaning to the slogan Just Say No! - if you can)

bagl

- Happy Birthday to GrandPaBear (and, of course, best wishes to your entire clan)

Firekeeper,

Oh yes, I have compassion, but I am da Mammabear... can growl when necessary.

Just only when provoked.

LOL

The only person I can't say "No" to is of course, Papabear.
