The Reiki Cafe 

This is the first time in a very long time I have been surprised we were in a mercury retrograde. I have not felt any of the usual energetic mischief that usually comes about with this. In fact, communications have been very good this week. Anybody else having this surprising turn of events?

Could you elaborate? I have had some very strange stuff happening of late.

You could be right, as I have witnessed already three stupid car accidents this week.....people in a fog....lalaland. Have been very disciplined in my own spiritual practice the last month and a half, so perhaps it is a bit of skirting around. In addition, my husband has been also disciplined in his meditation practices, so maybe the good energy between us is keeping the tv, computer, car and other machines in harmony!!! Also, most of the people I communicate with are doing very intense work on their stuff, so maybe that is all just paying off.

Well, generally the computer gets very wierd. There are many miscommunications. In our house, there is usually alot of frustration around mechanical things, like cars, dishwashers, phones, etc. People forget to relay messages, things get lost at the printers, etc. For some reason (see my note to FK), things are going pretty smoothe so far....everyone I try to reach is available.....appointments are showing up...things are going as scheduled and planned. Usually in a mercury retrograde, there is just one mishap after another, and we just laugh.
So, what mischief is occuring in your life?

Hi Feather,
I kept having tv's and cd players sound go up for no apparent reason. I would turn them down and on their own the sound would rise again. This was happening at school and at home as of last night for a week. I have not noticed it happen today.

I thought perhaps I had an attachment and did some meditation on it. Since this I have not had the tv or cd player act strangely. 2 different cd players and tvs by the way. The kids at school and my own children noticed this phenomenon as well.

Yes, in response to the complaint (or perhaps excuse or projection of blame) that "shit happens!"? Well, as I always say sometimes: "shit happens because people do stupid shit."

Hmmmmm. that is curious.
Interesting to see if the phenomenon ceases for good after the meditation.
