I am now ready to say Merry Christmas to those of you celebrating that today and a Merry Christmas Eve to those of us celebrating that today.
And to those celebrating any other holiday I also send fond thoughts to you.
A good time of the year to do some reflection and embrace our gratitudes and give thanks for all we are and all we have and to look forward to all we can be and will do in the upcoming year.
Tonight I will light some candles and make an intention that health, love and some prosperity will go out to everyone who reads this.
May all of your celebrations be happy one's and may all of your hopes and dreams come true for the New Year. May you be surrounded by those you love and may you remember those who are no longer with you and smile with those warm memories.
We will be with our children and grandchildren tonight after church and tomorrow we will be with our entire extended family here at our home. I am looking forward to all of it.
We are doing a gift exchange tomorrow where each adult brings one gift. Then we will select one, open it, then the next person will select the second one and open it. If they do not want theirs they can take someone else's and on and on until the last one is opened and either kept or exchanged. This is our way of cutting out the excess, however we still will have gifts for the very young children.
My husband is on his work break until after the first of the new year and we both are very happy about this time together.
All is good in my world and I hope the same for all of you here at the Cafe'.
Peace, joy, contentment and love to all,
Donna
