I asked for strength...

I asked for strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity and God gave me brawn and brain to work.
I asked for courage and God gave me dangers to overcome.
I asked for love and God gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for favors and God gave me opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted.
I received everything I needed.
My prayers were answered.

Holobon,

Long time! Namaste...

We get what we ask for, don't we?

Peace & joy to you, too.

Abundant blessings,
In Light and Love,
Mammabear

holobon,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- we each earn our Karma (one way or another)

>:-}}

- so we always get what we 'deserve', so to speak, though it is much more than that

Holobon,
that is beautiful, I have printed it out to frame, as it is sooooo true, only through weakness can we find strength etc..have to have been down there to realize all these challenges we are 'sent', either we pull the positive from them & learn, or take the negative from it & only will ever see misery..
thanks again, I am posting to a dear friend of mine that's really having a bad time right now, & I know she will love it, & it will help her so much.....

nice one - it reminded me of the time i worked on the university newsletter and asked around for the 'meaning of life'. One boy said, "Life is the opposite end of the paint brush'
