There are three basics to physical life, that is, for us spiritual beings living in physical bodies. these are: love, joy, and truth. Truth is as important as love and joy. It takes all three to have even one. When you feel love, it brings joy, and truth happens. Or you become joyful, which springs up into love, and results in truth. Perhaps one can begin with truth, which results in joy, and love flows. These are the trinity that is often called, God, Goddess, All That IS. or God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We learn then that it is safe to trust each, love, joy, and truth. that is why I do not rely on faith. I know because I experience every day.

I have also learned that before I am trustworthy, none of this happens. Not for me in relation to myself or for me in relation to anyone else. Trust begins while nursing. All of life gets screwed if this does not occur.

Intersting... using this premise in my relationship with my fiance works so well. When any of these three come into play our bond is so much stronger. If one of these takes a wobble, (sometimes trust, sometimes truth) it knocks us off track for some time and takes a while to recover. This is the most honest and loving relationship I have ever had and it takes courage to be open and honest. Boy is it worth it!!

Hi,

You do not mention 'pain and suffering'. Where do they fit into this little scheme? Is there no "truth" about these?Though, from one point of view, it is Desire (whether for love, joy, or whatever) which represents true suffering.
