Hi everyone,
I haven't been around for a while - it's been kind of a rough year and I'm finally coming up for air. Won't bore you with the details. :)
My family and I have moved to NW Ohio, so a big wave hello to anyone in the Toledo/Detroit region!
Blessings,
Celt

We lived in Medina for 13 years, up until 10 days ago. :D We didn't get much lake effect snow there - we were just slightly too far south and west of Cleveland to get it.
We did get plenty of cold, damp and cloudy, though! I hear NW Ohio is slightly sunnier. I hope so! :D

Welcome back, Reikicelt...and hot, humid, muggy greetings from beautiful Cleveland, Ohio! I live in Parma, just a short drive from the city. I don't care much for the snowy winters but I'll take them any day over the humid summers. Seems we're never happy but you know what they say in Cleveland...if you don't like the weather, just wait ten minutes and it will change!

Otoharo!
I lived in the southern part, I now remember the name of the place, Chilicothi. they were just openiong a mental health clinic. I was hired to serve particularly the elderly. We were a really lively staff, enjoyed each other as well as our clients. Both my boss and his wife were also social workers. It was the first time I experienced breathing in air that was satuarted with moisture. The moment I stepped out the door, it hit me in the face! and wild flowers grew like hot house plants. Stupendous. All the things I learned about the needs of the elderly, are standing in me good now! I also introduced the type of spiritual healing that I learned in IPM.

Hi finality,
I understand that this area is the eastern edge of the tallgrass prairie, so I can imagine there are going to be tons of wildflowers around here. Toledo has quite a collection of metroparks in the area, which I look forward to visiting!
Our new house is surrounded by red and white oaks, and sassafras. Our last house had NO trees around it, so it's a nice change!
