No, not all shamans do soul retrieval. It is considered an advanced technique, and requires special training. If you're looking for someone who does soul retrieval, goodgle Sandra Ingerman for her site. She has a listing of shamans she's trained to do soul retrieval, all over the country.

Dear Roxy,
I do have her book and have read part of it. One of my unfinished projects. However, I finished reading The Last Shaman or something like that by an authentic Native American Woman from Shamanic Medicine Healer roots from a almost extinct tribe from Oregon, Northern California area. She doesn't have a list. It's like marketing these things are kind of against the whole philosophy of Indiginous people it seems, even though this is a money world.

I would guess that, yes, if you found fully tradionally trained shamans, perhaps they would all do soul retrieval. My only experience with shamans is actually those trained by the FSS, and I guess that's what I thought you meant.
