The Reiki Cafe 

We have a small out of the way room that I am planning on turning into a quiet reiki meditations space. Any suggestions on what colors to paint it?

I would go for something neutral and tranquil. That way you could add the odd picture, cushions etc. without clashing with your wall colour.

Colors often reflect mood. Meditation really does not require nor benefit from mood. 'My room' has white walls and ceiling with selected furnishings to honor the type of 'work' I do there. It is the furnishings that provide relief from the symbolic starkness of the white. This is Samsara, afterall, so a bit of color does not seem entirely out of order.
