Hello Friends,
The other day, at my job, a customer came in wearing a lot of different pendants. I asked him to explain them, while at the back of my mind was the hope that he was pagan, and I'd be able to relate to them. A pentagram,for instance, but not specifically. The man's pendants turned out to be nothing I was able to relate to.
Within the next twenty-four hours, I saw two men at two different times wearing t-shirts with pentagrams on them (an unlikely event in NYC). Could it be my desire to have seen the symbol on the man in the store drew in a sychronistic event?
Rock On!

Ms. Roxanne,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- for some, the later occurrence of the pentagrammed Tees would not be considered synchronisitc with the fellow who came in the shop (or your thoughts about pentagrams at that time)
- and would also not be synhronisitic unless you were thinking about them at the time of your encounter (or observation) of these persons with the *Tees
- events remote from each other are often just that
- I mean, if I think about a hot dog with onions and kraut now and then come across a hot dog stand hours later on the way home that I had never noticed before that serves dogs with onions and kraut, I would not call this a synchronisity (unless I was also thinking dog with onions and kraut as I was heading home - or wherever)

Otoharo!
Some years ago I went to hear eepak Chopra speak and bought his book, How to Know God, The Soul's Journey into the Mystert of Mysteries. He deals with symcronicities. These are likely not the same. But maybe are, also.

Dear Firekeeper,
Yes, your hot dog analogy suggests complete synchronicity, in fact. It is Eastern (Indian) belief that all things have a deeper meaning to them, no matter how irritatingly obvious those situations may appear. In your situation, noticing the hotdog stand after all this time may have been triggered by an even deeper subconscious thought or karma. You didn't notice the hotdog stand just because you thought of it earlier; what caused you to think of the hotdog in the first place? Hope you get my point.
Ms. Roxanne was, I believe, listening to her intuition very closely. Something we could all use a bit more practise of.
Thanks and blessings,

aum,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- obviously it depends on one's definition of both synchronicity (the Jungian use may differ from yours) and how one defines intuition
>:-}}
- and, meaning of the events to the person has much to do with whether intersecting events constitute synchronicity
- as to Karma?? Now, had I stopped at the hotdog stand and bought and consumed one of the dogs with whatever on it and then gotten food poisoning right away, I might be apt to consider the influence of Karma

Hi Ms. Roxanne
I would venture to say that your wish is fulfilled and it seems to be like a synchronisity (hope that is spelt correctly). I like to have that kind of feeling too. I like to think that I can manifest thoughts.... oops only the harmless ones (I hope).
Starjasmine recalling prefect timeings.....
cool... :)
