I was just reading the Third Eye Vision post and I thought how funny I came here to post about seeing things. - A long time ago, after being Reiki Level 2 - I started seeing faces as soon as I closed my eyes at bedtime. Faces of people I did not know, and someone said that perhaps I am seeing people that have passed and they are trying to communicate - it might be true - I still see them, but I never really get a message. But now I see something else, and I know it sounds crazy - and the first time I saw it I jumped and thought - oh well - your just seeing things, but I have unfortunately seen it too many times now - in the morning when I turn on the bathroom light - I see a arm acutually a hand - chubby - very chubby on my sink, I see the wrist, arm and then it is severed at that point- right before the elbow. It scared me this first time, but for some strange reason I am use to seeing - but I cannot even begin to figure it out. Any thoughts?

Bev, I can not tell you what you see, no one can. There are people on earth who are invisible to us. They are not after our welfare either. Sometimes when a person dies, they can not believe they are dead and stay around still living their lives as before but invisible to us. Anyone that you see as a physical body, is not out for your welfare. Angels and guides are lights.

Not exactly seeing things, but hearing them.
The other night I asked sleepily that my gaurdian angel do something for someone. Distinctly in my minds ear, I 'heard' the reply, do it yourself. probably a part of dreaming, though concious of the event.

- perhaps your 'guardian' was reminding you that such entities are not servants at our beck-and-call (as much as some seem to wish they would be)

- such entities do have their own agendas, afterall, which may sometimes conflict with what 'we' want (whether we want it for ourselves or someone else)

- also, it does not sound as if you had obtained permission from the person in question (correct me if I am mistaken, of course)

not mistaken of course, I didn't ask, and didn't send, just asked if angel would give a hand to them. whenever I do any kind of energy work, I always ask if it is correct so let it be so, as in if the energy is to go to someone I ask. As to the sleepytime in question, I was half in and out of sleep when I asked this.
I've had trouble before this to ask the angels for guidance and help due to the fact that I felt that they weren't slaves to my whim, and so therefore...
Some do take advantage.
Maybe this was what my sub-concious was telling me.

Jaguar, according to what I learned in Inner Peace Movement, you have one or more guides that are often called angels. These are dedicated to you. They are someone who has an affinity to you and agreed to stay with you during this whole lifetime. Therefore, you can use them continuasly. They welcome that. People who work with other people, such as counselors, usually have seven guides. Einstein had one as he was focused keenly. Guides are actually not angels, but you do have two angels in addition to your guides and these are also dedicated to you only. They are male and female. One of them is always with you. If you see them, they are only lights as they are not in physical bodies.

Guides are lights in one's aura, they do not run around like elves. Nor do angels. I know very little about these guardian angels, except Lazaris introduced them to us and gave us an exercise in order to comprehend their energy. Urantia decribes them as seraphim. Such an angel accompanies us throughout our career until we get to be finalitores. Guides, on the other hand only stay during this lifetime and are humans like us. I asked one once why they were content to devote so much time, and the reply is that it is a lot more interesting than melding into a pool of energy.

Right now, at this late hour with the Cards having beaten the Mets in game 7 of the NLCS, I am not sure whether you are missing the point entirely or I am. But, no worries. Guides, much like house elves, will use their best judgements regardless of what we might wish.

Interestingly at a shamanic sweat lodge(is there any other kind?) a lad in the lodge said he saw four lights hovering around me.
Funnily, I had bought a painting of a person sitting with his hands up to the heavens superimposed in a tree with roots and yada yada yada, but there were four globes of different colours sourounding him. Life imitating art?

Funnily enough, I was in bed earlier, feeling warmth, energy in my hands and the thought crossed my mind of this is reiki and as quick as that I 'heard' it's alright. but not a thought i would have thought myself, just a phraseas if spoken by another, yet in my head. It's hard to accept.
Not all 'voices' are goodly ones. Once in class during my teenage years, I fell into a dose, and found myself in the dark, but aware, unafraid. A 'voice' said to me to say that she kicked my chair. all of a sudden I was awake my body had spasmed and I had lept in my chair, the teacher asked if I was okay, and I said what the voice had said for me to say, although my classmate behind me hadn't kicked my chair.
I was looked at weirdly.
can't say I blame 'em.
So not all voices are good ones.
