Dear Friends,

Thank you for your responses to my other thread. I was wondering some more about color under the eyelids, and I have a further question. Does anyone have any knowledge about the color one sees when one's eyes are closed, not in a Reiki treatment, but say, for meditation, going to sleep, or just closing eyes during regular circumstances?

- I would say that could depend on what it is one has focused Intention upon to 'see' with the lids down (and the degree of gift one has)

- when I close my eyes gently simply to rest them, the immediate colour I 'see' most often is some degree of orange (but I suspect this might reflect light perception as it passes thru the capillaries of the eye lids - the more intense the light source the more intense the orange)

- such apparent causative effects do not occur when I am 'viewing' someone's energy bodies or other sources of energy (for instance, observing the variety of colours which are produced during a symphony concert)

Dear Mr. Firekeeper,

I do experience the orange or red that you speak of, and yes, I attribute it to light coming through the blood in the lids.
However, I often see a secondary color. It's usually light blue or yellow when I am meditating.

Sometimes, color of the predominant chakra(s) become visible during meditation or relaxing, to the closed eyes.

If you are in a mental state of embarking on new knowledge/venture/experiment etc., and are also becoming more verbally expressive/knowledgeable etc., perhaps these are the colors of your solar plexus and throat chakras.

Roxy, I have this experience all the time. Through the years I have come to recognize each color I see and what it means. It varies. Color is light. Dark needs healing. The color that my hands bring to the book I am reading is often the color I see behind the eyelids. I can tell now when this is from the ninth chakra, what Lazaris calls the pastels. I coorelate these to the four elements, water, fire, air, and earth. water is ble, fire is red, air is violet, earth is yellow. The mixture of fire and water is purpleish, fire and earth is orangy, fire and air is a red violet. etc. Of course, there are other colors besides that from the ninth chakra. Those inside the body have color also. I am sure you know them. So as I conclude, light of any hue is great, dark needs healing.

The ninth chakra is the cosmic universe, which we all share. I think.

I am using the ancient drawing of the twelve chakras in human energy fields. Lazaris teaches this. The seven in the body then eight under the feet, then nine above the head, ten above nine, eleven above that and twelve above all. The colors above the head are nine is the pastels, ten is silver, eleven is gold, and twelve is white. If I remember correctly. Lazaris has a tape that gives all the information but I do not have the tape handy.

Don't know much about that, though sounds fascinating.
I heard of one under the feet, one above the head and the one that is the universe or suchlike. My education is lacking, but each to their own, and I'll not worry over situation.
