Does anyone have any info on angiograms for the heart? Are they safe and effective? Any infor will be greatly appreciated.

- angiogram is not a treatment

- it is a diagnostic procedure

- since it is invasive there is always some risk, though with such a well established procedure it is likely human error will be the factor

- but, there are some very reliable sites on-line you can go to to read about angiograms
