Firekeeper,
It just occurred to me to ask you whether or not you use/apply intention in your day-to-day life (that is, outside of Reiki practice), as well...
Thank you.
Peace Be,
resplen

Firekeeper,
Yes, indeed.
Thoughts are things...that is, thoughts are energy. (Everything is energy.)
The Universe responds to what we broadcast via our thoughts/intentions.
Do you concur? Thank you for any input.
Peace Be,
resplen

Note to self ...I think Wayne Dwyer wrote about Intentionality. ...Yes...
I ought to have a look at his POWER OF INTENTION.
Has anyone read it?

I'm new to this. I have a good friend, who just read Intentions.....and she felt as if the author was speaking directly to her.....that it helped her tremendously.

Hi Ponderings,
A warm welcome to the Cafe.
I haven't as yet picked up Wayne Dwyer's book, but plan to on my next trip to the bookstore.
Wayne does a series on his "Intentions" on PBS. Did you catch it?
Peace Be,

Thank you, resplen....it's been such a pleasure. We don't have t.v. channels...just VCR, but thank you for the mention. My mama loves PBS. The author's name keeps popping up in the oddest places for me.....on the back of an old Sturt Wilde book...."I love this man. I love everything he writes." Dr. Wayne Dyer.

Intention is the essence of many new energies.
Great question
I enjoy seeing the comments here .It uplifts by believe that humans care how we are creating our worlds.
Do you know about moving realms or going into past lives using intentions?

mysticalj,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- you said, in part: "Intention is the essence of many new energies."
- if you meant to say 'new energy practices' I would agree - and add that olde practices benefit from Intention (and mindfulness) as well
>:-}}
- energy has no Intention of its own, afterall.

Mysticalj,
To answer your question directly re: "Do you know about moving realms or going into past lives using intentions" -- no, I don't.
I've done no past life work at all. ...and, moving realms: Please tell me what is that about? :-)
Thanks for your response to my post.
Blessings,
resplen

You can use intention within meditation and Reiki to go into past lives and clear energy patterns.
In addition the same goes for using imagination realms to resolve patterns.Faerie realms Animal realms.
I was trained in Reiki Drumming were you access your power animals to gain inner knowledge.
You gather power from all for elements/directions and also centre /above and below.
You can create totems of learning by going inward with intention.Creating a sacred space using the symbols first is recommended.
I start by listening to drumming tape then I went to real drums. My children loved it for bedtime. The Cd had nature sounds too.
This is just a brief overview of the choices available.
Namaste

Otoharo!
Mysticalj, I, too love drumming. About four years ago, I spent most of my days drumming, out in nature somewhere. A retired person can do this sort of thing, no job to go to or family to care for. Drumming the Chulan beat! that beat is something that I recall from my past. I made my own tape also. Do I could meditate in the drumming beat.
