Salut ponderings and Dia duit jaguar.

Irish Mist, along with Glayva and Hebridean Liqueur, is indeed a decent drink, although, I must confess, a little too sweet for my taste.

One of my greatest pleasures is to be sat in front of my log stove with the wind howling outside and the rain battering the windows, with no lights on, watching the flames dance in the stove and listening to the clock quietly ticking, a glass of malt or good blend with a drop of pure spring water added!!

Heaven!!

A bientot cherie et slan go foille jaguar,

Brian.

P.S. ponderings, check out the new pics in my gallery

What beautiful photos, Brian. First one took my breath away. And what is your best friend's name, if I may ask? Just a pup? Sure is gorgeous....and I bet....good company. Thanks for directing me to your gallery.

His full Kennel Club name is Lilymere Brackenwater but he is know and loved by us as Floyd.

He is a 12 year old pup, a Hungarian Viszla and is an absolute treasure and a wonderful companion.

The poor old lad went through the mill last week, having to have 7 teeth removed but he recovered well and by the third day after his op, was his normal bouncy self.

Yes that first picture is of Rum and Eigg taken from Glenuig Harbour as dusk was falling and the birch, well, that is the tree for my birthday.

Glad you liked them.

A bientot,

Brian

Salut mon frere. Ca va bien chez toi? Et la belle Marianne?

Weeeeeeeeellllllllll. I've just checked my world time clock and it can be far from sundowner time for y'all.

Good to hear y'all got back safe and sound - just a shame you weren't here longer.

The Kachina doll is already starting to work his magic, but I'll tell you all about that in my next email.

Well, work tomorrow (sigh) so bedtime for me.

Nos da, oiche mhaith and goodnight (for now) (my time),

A Peadar, a chara,

Howdy doody!

No nothing has arrived up to now. I checked my bulk folder in case, for some unexplicable reason, it had ended up there, but nothing at all.

Looks like the gremlins are at work again!!.

dear ponderings,

.. yeha..it's not really a whiskey. Kindof like the Irish version of southern comfort or yukon jack. Too sweet ; numbs the intellect and constitution. I've yet to meet an Irish person that was interested in it.

Michael

Ponderings,

You said, in part, "I'd like to be taken along next time, please."

I would just like to say, should you ever be over here on this soggy little island off the coast of Europe, bean mo chroi and I would be honoured to welcome you and our home would be your home.

Hey ponderings,

welcome to the club!!

I am ALWAYS in the doodoo - its just the depth that varies - some times it's just galoshes, others its full diving gear!!

Well now, first of all, apologies for the delay in replying but things have been a bit hectic this side of the Pond but the answer to your query is as follows;

Gonzo or the Great Gonzo, to give him his correct title, is a character created by Jim Henson for the Muppet Show. Some say that he, Gonzo, that is, looks a little like a turkey.

Bagl, bagl, bagl.
