My friend has this problem. My friend is a bit self conscious about these things so for that sake I will frame the issue in question in "my tense".
Anyhoo, In the last week or so I've developed this groin pain or mal-ease if you will. After some days of study it seems to be more energetic although it is right in Hernia County. It's like right where the right testicle cables connect to the mainland. Then go in about an inch. Comes in flashes then goes away for a while.
I've come up with a few possible theories:

1)I have a big black cat now. This is the 3rd big black cat to come into my life via the woman I was committed to. The whole big black cat thing is a whole other story and too long for this post I'm sure. Anyway, Black Bean, or as I call him when we are dueling "El Gato Negros", did something out of the ordinary the other day. This is the cat that bit me to the bone the first week I had him (requiring medical care, prescriptions and telling work I'm on injured reserve) And he's got really long teeth come to find out.
Anyway, he's next to my chair the other day bugging me as he is want to do. I've come to figure that he either wants a treat or to wrestle. In the case of the latter Bean will lead me out and into the middle of the front room. In the certain right spot in the middle of the room he will flop down like a darted wildebeest and wait for his pre-combat massage. Anyhoo, he jumps up into my lap the other day for the first time. He was seeking neither food or hard play come to find out. He wanted to sit in my lap. I was busy at the computer. After he settled in I rested my less used hunt-and-peck keyboard hand on his back and set it to general auto Reiki.
I wonder since Bean is sitting in my lap and getting Reiki, is he grounding out his negative schizzle thru me and some got stuck ?
2) Clearing: I've been doing some awaited clearing in the last few weeks. Perhaps some schizzle I am grounding got caught up in my 2nd Chakra area.
3) Working out theory: I've fairly discounted this one. I have not done anything at the gym with weights in the last few weeks that was untoward. Plus I do yoga 3-5 times a week.
4) Knutshell theory: My new grippy Lycra yoga shorts. For the longest I've been used to loose shorts for Yoga. Recently I've been getting tired of how they get bunched up in odd spots as you move thru asanas. Added to this my narrow hips which at any moment can cause the Knut's to be caught in "inner thigh sheer" with the loose shorts. This is caused by the natural scissors motion of the legs. One misstep and an unwary Knut can find serious misadventure as the legs move in and out of lunges, down-dog ect. The Knut brothers are not used to being held in place by the Lycra shorts. I'm tepid on this theory because the Knut's usually find the most ergonomic positioning in a given situation. Otherwise they would have given up long ago after short and unremarkable punched drunk careers.
5) Big Foot Theory: After the auto Reiki Black Bean won't stay off my lap. In jumping in and getting settled he's been stepping on right side Knut and stretching the cables(?)
