Hello everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has ever had successful Acupuncture for insomnia OR sinus problems. I am considering this option but have never had a treatment before and I'm curious about success rates, I'm not worried about the needles.
Thanks in advance for any feedback,

Otoharo!
I have had a great deal of help from accupuncture before I had access to reiki. One of my brothers is a practitioner of it. When I took the flu that came to be called the New Mexico flu, I was so ill, that when I called my brother he could hardly hear me, my voice was so weak. We both were living in Texas, so he called one of our sisters and the two of them came to see about me. My body always responds to accupnucture very well. My boss who had had the same flu was willing for me to have three weeks off so I went home with my brother who gave me several treatments each day.
Another time, I had become so stiff that I could hardly turn my neck. I sleep on my belly, so I needed to be able to turn my head easily. I went to an accupunctureist. she was very good. (This was the Japanaese type, not the Chinese.) As it turned out, the same kind my brother learned. that cleared my whole energy. I went to her weekly for a couple of years. My insurance paid for it.
I have no experience with the Chinese type.

Thank you Finality, I've booked some sessions. Everyone who has had it for any ailment, has said that it really helped them and their energy levels afterwards were amazing. You are very lucky to have an Acupuncturist in the family and such great coverage with your insurance!

Thanks, animallover, of course I do not have the insurance now but I can rely on reiki for everything.

Dear Animallover,
I love accupuncture but I've noticed some people expect permanent relief from it after one or two sessions and don't like that they are often asked to come back 3 or more times, so they quit and do the surgery, drugs etc., which also doesn't have permanent relief. It's good to look at root psychological, esoteric cause of any ailment. Most insurances cover accupuncture. I would call and ask to talk to supervisor with your insurance.
Peace,
Prosperity

Acupuncture is a healing of energy. I think Reiki is alot the same with it's healing benefits. Reiki is basically acupuncture without the needles. We have heard so much about Acupuncture for many years in the Western World. Reiki is new to the people here. Things are a little slower to catch on in the western world, but it is catching. Alot of people are looking to different methods rather than the usual trip to the doctor.
"Energy Medicine is that alternative."
Namaste,
