ponderings,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- desires, just as aversions, are attachments

- and, it is attachments which keep us in the cycle of death and rebirth

- so, you wish to be someone other than who you are at this moment??

- perhaps after you have garnered the requisite Karma this may occur

ponderings,

Hi,

Ah. Clowning around. Without emoticons or other punctuations it is sometimes difficult to determine the emotional tenor and intent of Posts. My initial reading suggested some possible dissatisfaction with yourself rather than a simple whimsical tangent. So, I hope all is well with you and that you have a happy 2008.

Cheers,

RC

awwwwwh, thank you very much, R.C.....and Led...

it's so true what you say concerning the posts....good to be reminded of it, too.

I was watching Forrest Gump.....remembering how much my mama loves Carol Burnett (Michael would say that I'm getting befuddled here and he'd certainly be right)....and how I thought she looked like Carol when I was a wee one (right, mama wasn't sure if it was a compliment or not...ha!)

Threw in the other folks, because they ALWAYS make me feel so good. Middle of the night musings of a befuddled old lady.

P.S. I don't know how to use the computer icons/expressions that show emotion.....and I thought that others would just join in with whom they desired to have parts of....all in fun.....nothing more.

Well, Ponderings,

In that spirit, I desire to be a housecat. A life of eating, sleeping and watching birds seems like heaven to me!

I love it, Roxy! But are you ready to eat the birdies???

My Mum-in-love claims that she wants to be a male seagull, cause they eat whatever they want, get to fly, answer to no one and have no responsibilities....ha!

Well, Ponderings,

I eat chicken all the time, and that's a birdy.

Yes, the no responsibility thing I like.

roxy,

Hi.

Sooooooo, you wish to paw around in not always fresh kitty litter? lol!! Got someone lined up to keep kibbles and bits in the bowl? Not to mention agua? Got someone to tend the solied litterbox? And, I hope you like uncooked mouse and cock roach. For surely as a cat you will stalk them and eat them if you manage a catch.

Cheers(I prefer to tend cats than be one),

RC

Dear ponderings,

All of those people are quite admirable qualities. There is nothing wrong with wanting to emulate positive qualities that you see others have. It has served me well so far.

If we had no "desire" to improve ourselves, well that just would not do. So to speak.

Dear Roxie,

Careful there. I think you would be shite bored within a week. Possibly sooner.

And your benefactor (owner) might not appreciate the beauty of the sculpture piece of a tennis shoe, hairball hack and fibers rendered from an expensive human garment that you spent all day crafting while they were at work.

I would consider bird or dolphin.

Michael

michael,

Hi,

Well, if I may make a wild guess or two? How about My Favorite Martini or Lost in Spacelesness? And, a dark horse might be the original series, beginning 1963 on BBC, of Dr. Who.

Cheers,

RC

Dear RC and Arati,

As I have had no choice this week but to go to work with a horrible bug, I'd say, yes, I'd still rather be a housecat.

Second hint:
This character's closest friends usually ride in a vehicle called the "skiff".

Dear RC,

All good guesses. You must have a bit of the coyote.

Now that you are closer, I would recommend a contemplative bath before you launch your next guess. Perhaps with a bit of sea salt.
