The Reiki Cafe 

I found this interesting quote by Hippocrates today...

"It has often appeared, while I have been soothing a patient, as if there were some strange property in my hands to pull and draw away from the afflicted parts aches and diverse impurities by laying my hands upon the place of discomfort."

This comes from the book "Dr. Fulford's Touch of Life". Dr, Fulford is an osteopath and his book has some unusual parallels with Reiki. I highly recommend reading this book and examining some of the similarities of osteopathy and Reiki. While not of the spiritual nature that Reiki can be, Dr. Fulford talks extensively of what he calls the
"Natural Life Force".....Many interesting similarities...
