Hi Everyone!
Well I am just back from Melbourne after going down for my grandmother's funeral.
On returning I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! After reassuring myself with another test and a blood test from the doctor I am definately pregnant. It is my first time and I am 33 and very excited. I am nearly four weeks pregnant.
I also have a new cat who I have named Jack. He is ginger and white and eight weeks old. He is very good and stays in the same room as me. He goes and sleeps in the bedroom when I go out.
I hope you have all been keeping well.
Love Melinda

Namaste Melinda,
Congratulations on all of your news. The tone of your post sounds full of joy and happiness, and I am glad to hear it, truly glad.
I had my second child at your age, and it was, again, an amazing experience. I was more informed the second time around and knew the questions to ask, and did the research to help myself enjoy it all the more. For me personally, and after consulting with my doctor, I found drinking rasberry leaf tea to have made a huge difference. I also planned what I want the experience to be like for me and the baby...I took music I use for Reiki, and essential oil, and diffuser too. If you are interested in other natural products to assist you in this phase of your journey, please e-mail me and I will pass you the info.
Jack sounds cute. What color(s) is he? You days sound like they are filled with sunshine, and I hope they continue. Enjoy this time, because it can be magical.
Blessings and peace to you always
Dina

Dear Melinda,
Congratulations and all the blessings in the world! I hope everything goes ok. Let me know when things progress a little, how the baby reacts to any Reiki you have done as that whole area fascinates me.
Give the cat a stroke from me, and good luck in the coming months..... X

Hi!
Thanks for people's replies.
The cat is ginger and white and yes very cute.
After an ultrasound today they have found fibroids and an ovarian cyst (as well as a sac indicating an "early normal intrauterine gestation"). Not much to see because it is so early. I have had cysts before and it will probably have to be drained. The fibroids will probably be removed at the same time. The fibroids actually explain some other symptoms I have been having so I am glad to have an answer. I am also definately not having twins which is what the doctor was worried about.
I am very tired. Any suggestions would come in handy. I had some wheatgrass juice today which seemed to help.

Namaste Melinda...
Congrats on your news, wishing you everything good!
The fatigue will pass, the first trimester is the hardest for that, as I recall. I rememeber being so tired I could sleep standing up! Give yourself what you need, rest, good food and happy thoughts....you are part of a miracle!
Enjoy!

Hi!
Thanks!
I rang my sister-in-law last night and she insisted that I must start talking folic acid. I did and the tiredness for the most part seems to have disappeared. I also found, today, that being out in the sun is helping a lot. We have a lot of sunshine here especially as summer approaches.

Hi!
Thanks! I have been on a couple of sites to correct some misinformation I have been given by doctors. I went to another doctor today and she corrected some misinformation that a specialist had given me. Hopefully I have now found a good doctor.
I came home to find a large snake skin in the tree near my bedroom window. I imagine it was a carpet snake as I have seen them in that tree before. I hope this is a sign of good luck.

Hello Melinda!
Great! So glad to hear you've accessed the some great sites already! And very happy about that you've found a good doctor>
How special a treat to see a snake skin like that is my first thought! new skin, new day Yes, good luck for new adventure! giggles, in some months you'll get that strrrr-etched tight feeling across belly!
There's two feathers I found that keep in my car, I just like them there, they are like gifts, one i saw floating to the ground, the other right on way to car.
Love. lippizan
