Hiya :)

I was wondering if anyone here had tried hynotherapy for past life regression. After reading Destiny of the souls and Journey of the souls by Michael Newton...I have been tempted and made an appointment.....

I am hoping some one might have something to say on the matter or on hypnotherapy in general...as my impulsive nature has got the better of me once more LOL

It went well enough for me to book a 10 month course in hypnotherapy. By next october I should be a qualified hypnotherapist :))

I didnt experience things as clearly as in journey & destiny of the souls..but I was always aware of my physical body and my personnel space ;)I guess I was being careful, I experienced enough to know only our physical body dies...

If I was to return I suspect I would trust him more and allow myself to go deeper,(instead of flipping backwards and forewards) but I have decided to wait for the course which starts in january in london..so I am aware of exactly what happens and I suspect I may find someone on the course whom I connect with and possibly we will explore past lives together. (this is a feeling I have)

I will let you know and if you decide you want to go down this path after Im qualified :) I hope you know you would be safe :)The course tutor seems a very genuine guy and has had quite a few books published and gives seminars. I was not aware before how much hypnotherapists consider what they do as healing :)They work on the same principles as reiki that an emotional problem is the cause of most illness and the emotional problem needs to be released.

The course also incorparates counselling, which I wanted to do before I go proffesional with reiki :)

Hello Sky,
I have done past life regresion a few times and dicovered why I had certain blocks and emotions in my current life with particular people and situations.
I have since been certified as a Hypnotherapist. I have only done a couple of regressions with clients since being certified. I had actually done more through simple guided imagry and deep meditation with others.
I use my skills of hypno. for pain reduction and self healing emotionally and pysically with clients, with much sucess.
I have discovered that if I preform Reiki prior to the hypno. that the client can reach the hypno. state much easier and deeper with less anxiety.
