Just a quick note to say that when I have been able to catch up with people in the chat room, it has been a wonderful experience - and I thank Mike from the bottom of my heart for his ingenuity and persistence in designing this site.

This topic has been covered many times - and a common thread seems to be - I've been in, but nobody to chat to.

As this site isn't always peopled, may I suggest that those who do visit stay for a while, even if they do not get quick responses from a person who may be appear to be in the room. I am suggesting this from my experience, as I pop in on the hope of chatting, but in the meantime have to continue with my work, running it side by side with what I am doing - and many the time it has occurred that I have just missed the person and I have typed my response just to see the name disappear from the screen....lol.

So, perhaps if we hang around and reduce our screens so that we can work on more than one thing we will have a better chance of catching up (particularly if you live in the southern hemisphere and you are in a time warp for Nthn hem) ... lol
