Namaste All You Good People,

I have been coming across a few terms that I do not feel that I understand...I mean beneath the english language, what they truly mean. I hope that any of you that have the knowledge and a better understanding can explain these to me. I do not wish to disregard information on bias based on language alone.

The first term is Christed Consciousness, and the other is The Inner Plane Ascended Masters. I feel that I truly do not understand what these means, and find it hard to agree or follow through with practices to that to which I do not konw. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I am by no means an expert on what these mean, what i should say is that most people have their own defanition of these terms. I can only give you an idea of what it means to me i guess.
The term "christ conciousness" i feel often refers to a persons state of being\mind as to whether they are concious of light and think in a spiritual sense and not just in a physical one...they are "councious" of more than just what they see. I am not a christian so i do not know if a person of christian faith would have a different view, im sure many ppl do.
The other term to which you refer "ascended masters" in my understanding is given to light beings such as angels and other energies that many people believe control and help in our existence, some feel they are angels, some feel the are gods helpers and some feel they are aliens etc. I think it depeneds on your beliefs to a large degree.

- the interesting thing to me about the notion of "christ consciousness" is that I am not sure Jesus ever referred to himself as a Christian -

- he was a Jew who felt and thought beyond his Hebrew heritage to the point he became 'Jesus non-grata'

- Christian, as I understand it refers to believers\followers\etc of Christ - followers of the principles said to be espoused and practiced by Jesus

- how closely one lives these principles perhaps suggests the degree of one's christ-consciousness
